wanted old seal.

i need an old rear window seal for a gen 1 have opened a contact that is willing to take a look. if anyone needs a new seal let me know as i am now retiried i have time on my hands. will chase some down. possible other seals. jd

what good will it do you, the seal is bonded to the glass, you can cut them off sure, but the only way to put a new one on besides changing the window is glueing one on, so its pointless to continue your quest! unless you can get the same piece of glass that ford put in the car, for $100 bucks, then you got something going.

and I got that piece of glass with a cut seal that I'll sell for $100. It's tinted too.

Baby seals are usuallymore desireable then old seals. They make better jackets anyway.

butch knows all about the seals and the glass being one piece. He's had mark viii's since they came out. He's willing to help with a prob that alot of people have. If someone has an old seal and wants some help let him know. He'll give you the details.

when things are diffuclt 98% will refuse to attempt it. the 2% that tough it out know the felling and pride of sucess. what i need is a complete seal for replication and measurements . do not need any glass except what is in the seal will do the removal of broken parts if someone has one. just because ford or gm wants to contract there parts as they do. does not mean that that is the holy grail and the cure to the probluem. call ford and try and get hids know what i mean.

Dad, Jeb and I are buying a 200 dollar parts car. You can have the seal from that. I've just got to get the time to part it out.
