I hated having my crappy looking halogen housings and I can't afford to buy the clear lense HID ones so I decided the car would stand out better if I tinted them. Figured Id use vinyl wrapping just incase I didnt like them I could take it off. I think it looks good in my opinion. Some people dont like the tinting of headlights. Now Im justing waiting on my HID kit to come.

you can get it at home depot, they sell static cling window tint for houses and buildings, to keep sun out, i used to have it on the sliding glass doors in my bedroom, the nice part is you can peel it off, wash it, and stick it back on. besides your saddle interior, that is one awesome looking champagne gen 1!

headlights look cool but it makes the lack of window tint even more needed

+1 get the windows tinted and it will look sick. dont even go dark just some nice clean tint, like a 40 % or 35% i dont know how jersey is, or go 5% like mine and tint the windshield too see how long jersey's finest lets that slide lol!

wow looks great. love the cobras. you need window tint bad! dont forget to put that on the tail lights too!

Figured one of these days I will try that on my headlights and tail lights. The vinyl tint is a good idea cause I could pull it off if I have to drive at night.

Yeah thanks guys. I got 2 12x24 sheets on ebay for $14. I will get the link later on. That was with the parking lights on, no headlights. Im definatly going to tint the windows. I was thinking 35% all around just because of the NJ police lol. I might get20% if i feel the need to go darker.

I like the tints. You have the rims I want. Did something happen to the driver's door on your car? Looks off in color and alignment a lil, maybe just me.

the front fender is off in color. the previous owner got into an accident and replaced it and painted it the wrong color.

Yah, now I look closer the door's fine in match it's the fender. Sorry to call it out like that. It actually is a nice ride.

Those lights hardly illuminate anything in stock form, with those tints on you probably dont get much lighting at all. Its a safety hazard to yourself more than anything.

I dont get it how people black out their back lights and then are shocked when they get rear ended for some reason.

Tinted lights done right don't hurt anything. People love to get all activist about stuff like that, remember all the stuff people did to cars in the old days (which all the old farts complaned over) got integrated into new cars that everyone drives even though they used to piss and moan about it. Unsafe modifications are unsafe, regardless of who likes the outcome. Just because guy number one did half ass mods doesn't mean the whole idea is bad. There are cars with 30'' rims that I hate but are 100% safe.

All of these Champagne marks coming out of the wood work. That car looks pretty damn sick with those wheels... Looks good man.

Thanks! The pics were taken in Freehold. As far as being unsafe, the HIDs work perfect through the tint so I dont see anything being hazardous. Even when I had the regular bulbs I still seen fine at night and the light shined through them fine. The vinyl wrap is a lot different then the spray on tint.
