I'm in the process of removing the valve covers on my 1998 Mark V8.. Any tips on how to get them off successfully? I would also like to paint them, so if anyone has any suggestion on that I would greatly appreciate it.

I'd still like to get some VC bolts in stainless to match the SVT Cobra covers on mine.
I used ARP stainless 300 12-point bolts.

What throttle body is that?
Accufab
did it help at all?
