Yes, Sapperfire has seen the lite and how much better Gen 2 cars are. :D

He just picked up a 98 black on black LSC with moonroof. Car is in excellent shape and he is pretty much its second owner. Car needs some minor stuff like new tires, blend door and a clock spring but is otherwise in great shape.

There will be plenty to follow as well as better pics during the day and as we detail the car.

Thats a nice looking car. Now that my 98 lsc is totaled, I can try to find a blk/blk lsc or a dark charcoal one:D

damn do i need to come to texas and pick up a gen 2 for the a decent price i mean damn??????

Cool ride Sapper. Sounds like you have the same problem with the wife and kids in a car as I do. When will they learn feet belong on the floor not the seat or the dash or any where else. My wife has never driven my Mark and she will most likely never drive it. She just doesn't care.

I dont know why people get a boner over blk guts..I'm not a huge fan esp after cleaning my dads blk int. I like lighter interiors..But not saddle. But overall a fan of all g2 int colors.

Price? Luckily the clock spring and blend door are easy enough. I had to replace both on mine when I got it. Glad to see that Sapper decided to move up to the much better Gen 2:D

Toreador red/black is a bad ass combination. I love mine.

I gotta do some research to see if I can use the clock spring from the 93 on his 98. I doubt it though, prolly have to locate a second gen one.
As for the blend door, I never done one on here but have read all the threads and I am planning on trying the version that does not require the dash and steering colum to be focked with. I know its just a time consuming job so not worried about it.

Car was a very good price and I will leave it to Sapper if he wants to say how much it was.

Some here would say its too much cause of miles (153K) but if you go over the car would soon realize its in excellent shape with no hints of rust.
I replaced the rear pads to get it home though. Passenger rear inner pad was gone and has killed the rotor so it had to be done to make the 200 mile trek home. Car will get the Brakemotive kit soon so thats all new rotors and pads anyway.

Gonna test the air ride compressor and if it works the car may go back to air. Would only need a new set of rear bags.
Its coil conversion has to go in the blue Mark so his wife is happy. If the air comp is bad then the lower coil kit will go in the 98.

Gen 1 clock spring will not work on a Gen 2. I should have an extra one from a Gen 2. I'll have to look.
