Grocery prices jumped more in April than they did in nearly four years​

Fresh vegetables are over 44% more expensive today than they were three months ago, on an annualized basis. -snip

President Trump Has Heart Disease​

Yesterday, President Donald Trump's presidential physical examination results were announced by Dr. Jackson, his physician. He declared President Trump to be in "excellent health". However, as a leading preventive cardiologist, it is my opinion that President Trump has mild heart disease. Even though his overall health is average, his overall risk for a cardiac event (heart attack) within the next 3-5 years is relatively high. -Snip

A federal judge said Friday that President Donald Trump can't close or rename the Kennedy Center, ruling that it cannot be officially named for anyone else unless Congress approves it.-snip

Consumer prices up 3.8% year-over-year in April, nearly double the Fed's 2% long-term target of inflation​

A new report from the Federal Reserve finds that inflation is pushing prices higher at a strong pace in most of its regional districts around the country, driven by the surge in energy prices.

"Districts noted that energy-related costs tied to the conflict in the Middle East were the primary driver of inflationary pressures, with spillovers into shipping, packaging, groceries, and fertilizer," it added, with the Cleveland Fed noting increased fuel surcharges. -snip
