President Trump and the Epstein scandal

Refusal to release files relating to the Department of Justice’s investigation of notorious financier Jeffrey Epstein has become a crisis for the President. Global Insight considers what the scandal says about equal justice under the law – and President Trump himself. -snip

Trump and the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, who groomed and sexually abused underage girls, were once close friends moving in the same social circles in Florida and New York. ‘I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy,’ Trump said in 2002. ‘He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.’ -snip

Victims of Epstein and some members of Congress want the files released. President Trump has so far refused. -snip

The reason Trump-Vance buried the Epstein client list and redacted the files, is because Trump and some of his billionaire friends were clients.

Trump administration moves to overrule state laws protecting credit reports from medical debt

The Trump administration is moving to overrule any state laws that may protect consumers’ credit reports from medical debt and other debt issues.

This repeals previous Biden-era rules and regulations that allowed states to implement their own credit reporting bans. More than a dozen states like New York and Delaware prohibit the reporting of medical debt on a consumers’ credit report.
-snip

But Trumpers told me Trump was all about protecting the average working American and putting them first over the corporations... weird.

This is so credit companies and banks can squeeze just a bit more out of borrowers, because being worth billions is never enough. Also seems a bit like an invasion of a person's medical privacy.

Trump administration moves to scrap Biden-era credit card late fee rule

President Donald Trump’s administration on Monday asked a federal court to throw out a regulation capping credit card late fees at $8, saying it agreed with business and banking groups -snip

You can always rely on Trump to sh!t on the average American if if means billion dollar corporations get to squeeze just a little more money. This is what Trumpers voted for.

While the government is shutdown and prices keep rising for the average American, Trump is bragging over spending tax dollars to make his bathroom look like a tacky Las Vegas hotel room. So much MAGA right here.

Obviously this is small beans compared to Trump-Vance sh!tting over all our constitution, wrecking the job market and economy. But it's telling of who Trump is.

Grocery prices have jumped up, and there's no relief in sight

Last month saw the biggest jump in grocery prices in almost three years. For Shelia Fields, who lives in Galveston, Texas, the hunt for affordable food has almost become a full-time job.

"Like yesterday, we went to three different stores here in town. And we bought only what was a really good sale," Fields says. "So we got no meat at all. Because it's just too high."
-snip

Trump-Vance of course lie and claim prices are down since they took office. But people feel it in the bank accounts, even Trumpers who continue to spread the lie despite feeling it.
