OMG - how true. Mine was leaking for some reason with the new setup and I had the pleasant experience of tackling this job.

selling my transmission pan for 25 dollars plus shipping to any takers, nothing wrong
too lazy to tackle the o ring, so it hasent been done yet. still leaking except when i park on an inclide facing up. thursday ill send and update. selling my transmission pan for 25 dollars plus shipping to any takers, nothing wrong with it just needs to be cleaned up, it is the 96 deep pan.

Changed the trans dipstick tube o ring today. Wahlah! No more leak.

doesnt that just irritate the $#!+ out of you all kinds of headaches and work for a piece of rubber worth probobly 25cents! glad you stopped the leak

ivfe been avoiding it because everybody said it was so tough to get too. I have to disagree. 2 foot extention some grease and a swivel 15 minute job. i did it when i changed my oil 25 minutes max. the right tools make any job doable.
