Yes, I ordered some new wheels 2 weeks ago for dirt cheap & they look really nice! Everyone that has been to my house to see them loves them. My plan is to switch them out with the Cobra R's on the 93 & place the Cobra's on the 97 once I'm done painting that car.

Downfall? Rim Width: 7.5 <- I would've wanted them to be 17x8's but beggers can't be choosers.

They are One Piece, Offset: 40

Both bolt Patterns: 5x108 & 114

I said te same thing! It's a shame they are lipless! They look sweet though! Well, my car's going to the doctor first to get it's liver checked out! Engine is the heart so the tranny is.....:shifty: never mind).... Anyway, once it's out of the shop I'm slapping them on!

If I had adequate cash I'd sell both of my Mark VIII's & purchase a lower mileage MK8. Eventually that is the plan with both of them. However I have to be patient. The economy sucks right now, everything's expensive & I can't afford fixing both of them up to make them look nice enough for me to get decent cash. So I figure slowly but surely I will pull through!

Improvement? No way man... I currently have Cobra R's on the car. They are a replacement due to the swap! The Cobra R's are going on my 97 once I finish it!
 
well get the tranny fixed, then trailer that thing up here and drop it off and leave me some cash i'll fix the turd up nice, make it road worthy!

Fvck man!!! :confused: :p Guys, it's 5:40pm & I'm still in the office workin my @ss off! Every day I get out before a damn tire shop is open. I'm planning on throwing some used tires onto the wheels for now but it simply won't happen until the weekend & Saturday morning I take the car to the tranny shop! There simply isn't time.

Tell you guys what, let's let this thread die out, not bring it back up (out of sight, out of mind)... When the wheels are on the car I'll take REALLY GOOD pictures of the car after it had settled at parking height & post 'em on LVC! :cool:

I would not put used ones on the rims just to satisfy the masses. Doubles the risk of clear coat damage from them putting on the old then off with them then put the new ones on. I would wait until the new tires are ready to go on. The masses can wait.

Wow UltimateSVT, I like those and what a good price. Do they make any 17" wheel for a Mark ?? Whats that under the Cobra on the fender ??
 
Those look really good. I didn't think they would look that good when you just posted the pic of wheels.
