T-Bird and Mark VIII part compatibility

Does anyone know if a similar year t-bird and mark viii would have the same lower control arm? The parts department shows a different part number for the mark and the t-bird, but I thought they were the same. Any ideas?

i think the later tbirds/cougars have the same arm 96-97 as for differences have no clue

The lower is the same.
The upper is a little bit different because of the air ride.

Yes, the t-bird works fine. Its what I have in my car. The bushing is firmer and thats what I wanted to help firm up the front end.

As to why their is a price difference.... I havent a clue.

there are a bijillion t-birds everywhere and not so many marks, when you make a part for a somewhat rare car that doesn't cross to something else they usually charge a premium cause they won't sell as many.

I saw that you listed s/c part numbers. You might check and see if the part numbers are the same, but i've been told to order the t-bird w/4.6 parts

just checked part numbers and they are the same. ordered some myself as well

i always install t-bird lowers. you are paying for the lincoln name when you order the lincoln lowers.

If you call Max and have him look up the part# for the LCA on a Thunderbird 96, and the LCA for the Mark they will be the same number.
