Well I asked someone and sometimes my throttle sticks and if in park or neutral it revs over 2000 and stays till I shut far off could it be that?
well lets get our terminology right first, your idle "hangs" sticking would mean the throttle body is full of gunk and sticks (and you will be able to feel this in the pedal when you leave from a stop sign etc) like pushing the pedal down then it "pops" openWell I asked someone and sometimes my throttle sticks and if in park or neutral it revs over 2000 and stays till I shut far off could it be that?
If it were me, I would go ahead and buy a new IAC and TPS and swap both while you're in there. Do the IAC while the TB is off. Makes it a little easier. You'll need another TB gasket and an IAC gasket which are cheap. The IAC can be from $40 to $50 and the TPS is about the same but it should cure all of your idle problems. If you do swap the TPS, don't forget to plug it in before you bolt the TB back down.
