I know some of you guys like seeing these things.

I saw this on eBay this morning. They don't say anything about it being a Spring Feature, but it looks like one. It's also an LSC, and it's only got 85k. The Buy-It-Now price isn't too bad. It's got a gay carriage top, though. I hate seeing carriage tops on LSC's. I know they're not that much different, but still...

Anyway, check it out.

Spring Feature LSC

It looks like a good clean car, I never have cared for the gold color but if I had to choose a color to go with one of those tops, that would probably be the color. Ugly color, ugly top, why not! I guess the gold just looks a little more "sophisticated" if you will, so the top doesn't look too out of place.

Hell, it's right here in St. Louis, I may just have to go look at it! The price seems a little high ever for being in good shape though. Except for the dimple in the rear bumper!

Here it is at their actual web address. There are more pictures.

Edit:
Nevermind, if I wanted to get shot at, I'd rob a convenience store, that is almost smack dab in the middle of the ghetto, the cops keep getting killed up there!

Also, it appears that it has been in a slight accident at some point, notice how the drivers taillight is not aligned with the trunk but the passenger side is just fine. I also circled the dimple.

I was reading about them on LOD the other day....I think there were like 40 of them.

Not entirely sure on the exact number.

kid they werent all base models i had one of the lsc's. that thing is totally wrecked with that top on it. and dont assume it was crashed by the rear tail light either, it could be as simple as the rubber bump stop is turned in too much on the trunk lid. it probably just needs to be backed out a few turns.
they did dfee make lsc versions though. this was mine.

I still can't believe you parted that car out Jamie... I would of thought you could make more $$ off fixing it and reselling it whole.

kid, if you knew half the story behind that POS you would have parted it too. i'm not gonna go through the details and pics again but the car was issued a salvage title in 99 for flood damage, need i say more. i dont care if it was the only one ever built i would have parted it anyway, spring feature doesnt mean anything to me except UGLY ASS GOLD PAINT. i've eaten king size snickers bars worth more than that junk.

Plus, it had that badly cut hole for the fuel pump change!

the hole in the floor, the marbelized paint on the hood and header panel that some retard tried repaiting himself, the driverside strut that was 10 inches longer than the right, the rod inside the strut actually broke, the catridge rod rotted and broke inside the bag so the strut was ready to kill someone. it was just a complete pile.

there you go kid, there is your beautiful spring dog crap !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im sad that he doesn't longer have the dual exhaust to throw on my car! Lol.

I love how feisty you get when the spring feature and your Pearl 97 are mentioned Jamie....

I agree with you though, I would prolly have torn it apart too...

like i said before, when it comes to making money, they are just cars to me, i have no feelings for them what so ever, although i will admit, in 9 years, when i started taking my 97 apart i seriously had a knot in my stomach for the first 3 hours because it was such a nice car. the only mark i ever got attached to was my 98 black lsc, i still have a hard time talking about that car, it was my nicest car ever and the one i did the most to over any of my past cars. i could never replace it.

I love my CE... but I'm having a hard time modding it for some reason. I always have this though of it being a CE in the back of my head whenever I mess with anything... its kind of aggravating.
