These pieces are completely scratch free, even down to not having a hair line scratch. Has never been installed and arrived inside two Ford / Motorcraft boxes. It came from some dealership. It was ordered for a Mark but it was never put in and has been on the shelf at the dealership since 1996, from what I was told. Shows to be made in 1996 also.

I didn't need it because mine is what I would consider an 8.5-9 out of 10 so this is going in the closet for later on down the road sometime.

And now it's back in it's double box and bubble wrapped just like it came.

He mentioned in another thread that he does not have TC. Nice find, I bet it was cheap too.

He wanted $200 or best offer, I offered $140 and then he counter offered me at $150 and I accepted. To me, considering what I got and it's condition, I feel like I got a good deal.

You're right, I don't have TC

If you can even find "one" without the TC hole, in good shape, you're still looking at fairly high prices. There are some cheaper but all of them are scratched up.

Then include the shifter bezel to it, usually around $20 or so and good luck finding a half way decent ashtray/cup holder but this one is as new as it gets.

If I had a Gen 1, I'd be pissed off that I don't have a Gen 2...

You just ain't right. :p

I remember selling a mint ashtray/cupholder from my '96 back in 2005 for $10, and that was a stretch. Crazy if people are getting those prices.

Gotta ask. How did you locate them?

It was on eBay and someone had it listed and I jumped on it ASAP when I seen that it was for a 95 or 96. This is the seller:

This guy might work in the parts dept and could just be walking out with stuff lol. Maybe he gets a discount price on things that aren't going to be used and are taking up space in their storage area. Anyway, I know what I got was well worth $150 to me. Not one single piece has the slightest flaw.

marked8up there says he sold an ashtray / cup holder assembly in mint condition for $10 in 2005 but I remember seeing this same exact stuff selling for $50 to $75 just for that single assembly and NOT in mint condition. It was back during the LSC headlight housing craze, when they were bringing in $1100.00 for a set and EATC units were bringing in $150 for the big button style that would work in the 93 and 94. Now look what these things bring in.

Another reason I got this was because it was all three sections, fresh out of the box and matching and beyond mint condition. I don't think anything like it will ever show up again on eBay and it can't just be ordered anymore because all of it is discontinued. The way I see it, if you want it bad enough, you'll pay the price.
