What started this for me was reading about removing the pulley from our alternator (as my little pea brain tries to find more things to powder coat). It suggested that a vise may be necessary, so I went out and bought some stuff to build myself a workbench so I'd have a place to put a vise!!! Just finished tonight. Cheers! :D

Unfortunately I don't have a garage to work in so it would be a picture of someone else's. LOL

DLF, you win.

With the truck inside but I sold that rattling thing. I keep the 88 GMC outside.

Truck gone, tool boxes hadn't been added yet. Free carpet was added to the freshly painted floor. I burned the whole garage btw.

Used for a place to smoke too because I don't allow smoking inside the house so, to make it comfortable, I added 3 chairs, 32" tv and a satellite receiver & exhaust fan. It's air conditioned during the summer with a window unit.

No particular work area. I just pick a spot lol. Not the nicest but it's a bedroom for my baby.

Thanks! BTW, Other than pouring the foundation, my wife and I built it. :D

Doug, you have the nicest garage IMO. love the lift in there and car stacking ability. :p

We pretty much have the same tool boxes. I have the rolling one inside and the other two right outside the back door, covered under plastic. I have some cleaning to do and then those will be coming in after a good cleaning. Had those since the 80's

Here is my pole shed. I build the whole thing with the exception of pouring the floor. It is 36'x48' with 12' side walls. Right now it is a total mess as we have been working in it a lot lately. I have a wood burner and a natural gas radiant heater on the ceiling. No AC:confused:

basically... haven't had it empty or 'clean' in a while.

basically... haven't had it empty or 'clean' in a while.

I know the feeling. I really need to clean mine up badly. I have a lot of boxes that need to be put up in the attic's floor space, instead of the garage floor space and then I can bring in the other two tool boxes and do some organizing. It's walkable and workable but I like a clean garage and despise clutter.

Well, I just bought my first house 3 weeks ago so havent had time to set my garage up. So here is a picture before I moved all my crap in. The mark is hibernating in Saint Paul somewhere, she will come back in the springtime.
