i got an offer on my 10" rockford fosgate t1...

buddy if offering me 2 15" mach audio IXL's in a sealed box for my 1 10" rockford fosgate in a ported box. seems to good to be true, but i dont know anything about the machs, so can you audio gurus jump in here and halp me please!

Oh and he said the box is 62L will that even fit in my 93?

If you are saying the box is 62" wide, it's not going in between the rear wheel wells and if you bring it back further away, I doubt it's going to be short enough to shut the trunk.

What I had in the 94 was around 36" wide and it just did fit in between the wheel wells with a little left over on each side. All of this is about to go in the 95 some day soon.

Try measuring!

Measure the box, I have a huge box, and it only hits real hard because it's ported
ask Laser bout the speakers

No way! He's stuffed a pair of the IXL15s into 62L for both drivers? Hell, I wouldn't even put one in 62L. Ideally the IXL drivers really shine in a bass reflex setup, particularly in an EBS alignment.

If you have any questions on them email Mark, the owner, he's an awesome guy, and a great home brewer.

No you shouldnt!

For one they wont fit. Two, while they will play deeper your T1 is louder from 40-80hz. Three, the sound wave from a 15" sub is so long that all you get in the car is compression but outside the car they sound better. Four, the Fs is so low on those subs I would bet that box is too small for two. Five, gonna need an amp optomized for a 2 ohm mono load that also has at least 2000w RMS or else you may dammage the coils from clipping the signal when you crank them cause you wont hear distortion.

There are a lot of misconceptions in this quote. OP, if you really want to learn about this specific topic, visit www.soundsolutionsaudio.com
