Well to start, picked up a 93 eggplant/grey. has 141k, quat damage etc. Im in the progress of bringing her to NEW (with custom touch) Doing interior then suspension then body then drivetrain. And with this im expecting to complete by end of spring or beginning of summer. So shes a weekend project. Some will say it may be a waste of money, but bottom line is as my 3rd mark... its time to build one to hold on to and have last for a looong time. And most of all done myself. Did you remove the non JBL door panel trims and replace them with JBL ones? (I see both types in your pics) If so, what are you doing with the non JBL ones?

I picked up black panels, non jbls (from lux ) and yes took the tweeter trim from my car's panels and swapped. And with the tweeterless trim im not doin a dang thang with.... interested?

i cant wait to get the interior back together, its gonna look soooo good. im waiting to finish the carpet and run my stereo wiring etc. Is there anything i should replace before she goes back together?

its was fun, and im suprised no one pointed out the imperfections out on the jbl trim.... even the i took care of that... my plan was to be a little different but not out there. i wasnt the biggest fan of the idea of the metallic but the texture is what i was after. but in person the textured silver is frickin sweet. As far as the cup holder i figured id be better off gettin another but i didnt expect it to be the way it is now.... i thought it was just a simple snap of the plastic... but was wrong.

Lookin awesome. I'm with KK though. Cupholders are not that expensive. It will bug you to death if you don't fix it.

everything looks real good. are you going to re wrap the leather on the steering wheel in black? and paint the plastic parts on the steering column? i cant wait to see how it all looks when you finish

is 23 bucks expensive for the cupholder? And the steering wheel will be done, as of how im not sure, couple routes i may go, but for right now its painted with the vinyl and fab black

here is current progress of the stereo. ive got 0g and 8g ( 8g already in car ) power wire ran. the 0g for sub (obviously) and 8g for a lil 4 channel. Ive got the menace super bullet titanium tweeters and menace tri's. And im looovin the way the wiring ended up. just another step closer!! And when lookin in the pics its the red wire (uh dir)

Thanks!! Hell if you want to swing by ill be reassembling the interior tommorrow. And if you hadnt installed that radio yet maybe we could use it to make sure the factory amp is still good....and here the speakers

What's your plan with regards to that rear quarter panel? Cut it off and weld in a good one?
