Boscobel Beach Party
July 15th - 17th, 2011​

Thank you to everyone who have come to our Beach Parties and have made them a lot of fun, and a great success. It's because of you that Heather and I host the Beach Party, we enjoy the company and friendship of all who attend.

Once again we open our Home for all who wish to attend.​

Activities and Times are Tentative ​

Our 5th meet was fantastic ... and I have some great ideas from members for our 6th Beach Party ... Everything is not 100% in stone yet but it is shaping up...

All Times Tentative

Friday July 15th

12:00 PM-7:00 PM Meet Drink and Be Merry on Mespock's Front Porch with Pepperman (as we wait and watch members arrive)
Looking forward to meeting all new people who say they are coming, and welcoming all our old friend who return every year.
7:00 - 9:00 PM - Dinner at Double K's
9:00 till Chicken goes to bed - Fire, Refreshments, and Good Company back at Mespock's house .....


Saturday July 16th

8:00 AM Coffee at Timberlane Coffee Shop -
9:00 AM Breakfast at the Unique Cafe'
11:00 Meet at Kronshage
12:00 PM Cruise to Prairie Due Chien
1:00 PM - 5:pM The Great LvC Run (TGLR 1) Followed by Door Prizes ..

All who come to the meet should bring something to donate to the Door Prizes .... Can be as simple as a Can of Tire Cleaner or Sea Foam. Could be a car part you may have laying around the garage (one that works) ... Beer, Wine, Booze, .... Just something that could be used in the door prize drawning after the TGLR.

5:00 PM - Cruise to Boscobel
6:00 PM Dinner - Pig Roast at Mespock's
8:00 PM Evening Activities ???? Still working on these.

Sunday July 17th 9:00 AM -Breakfast at the Unique Café and Good-Bye

All it takes is one Wedding and the motels in Boscobel will fill So make your reservations early to guarantee your room. No Credit Cards will be charged until date of event

I'll be blocking rooms at the River Inn 608-375-8000 for LvC, other Boscobel motel is the Sands Motel 608-375-4167

So book your rooms early. (and remember Boscobel is a city of only 3,000 people so we don't have many motels. Next closest is about 10 miles away at the Fennimore Hills 608-822-3281

Once again my back yard is free for those wanting to save some money and camp out.
Those wanting to arrive earlier are welcome, same with those wanting to stay longer (as long as it's not permanent LOL).


Lawn Chairs are always good thing to bring

Well I know it's early but I had to do it ... There has been a lot of great discussion on the 2010 and for the 2011 Beach Parties that I figured what the hell why not ... so here it is the 2011 Beach Party thread ... have at it ...
 
I want everyone to understand that you don't have to come for all of the meet ... if you'd like to come for just parts feel free (obviously this is for all those who may live within few hours of the meet). But who the hell wouldn't want to come for the whole thing LOL ...
 
lol @ fri 9-when ever chicken goes to sleep. aww come on rich it was only 3am on fri and sat, cant you keep up anymore old man lol
 
I have to play it by ear, cause of the wife.
 
Site Calendar only goes to 2010. So I can't put the Beach Party on the calendar yet and make a sign up for the meet. I know the sites getting a tune up shortly so I expect shortly after that I'll be able to make the sign up ....
 
maybe this year I can make it a day cause it actually lands
the weekend before car craft summer nationals
