New tints, wheels & decals... so I took pictures. :)

Well, as some of you can remember i got a set of 2001 Cobra wheels from my mother's husband for FREE about 3 months ago.

I had been dieing to install the wheels on since I really wanted to see what they look like on my BoB. Well, I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
I also got my window's tinted on Sunday & I installed the LMS decals yesterday. Still have to install the Cobra mats that I got for
Christmas tomorrow.


NOTE: What makes these wheels standout is the curvature in them which doesn't show at all in the pictures so I did my best to show the wheels in different angles. ENJOY!

Looks great Alex. Now it's time to get LSC side moldings on. I'm liking the grill also. The 98 black on black I bought recently has a grill like that, and I think I'm going to leave it in for awhile.

Thanks guys. On the pictures the difference between wheels isn't that noticeable but you wouldn't believe how good it looks up close & personal.

I have the moldings. Haven't installed them yet. I'm giving those to the body shop guy when it's ready to go for paint.

As for the grill? I decided to go that route & I really like it. I may just leave it that way when I get the car re-painted as well. I think it looks really good.

Dude, DON'T!!! It was hot as BALLS today. I was sweating outside while working on the car!!!

I would've loved for it to be 40 degrees outside so that I can work without having to sweat a couple gallons. By the looks of it Miami isn't going to see much cold again this year. It was 84 out there today. NOT FUN!

To all of you looking for a nice wheel & NO NEED TO hub swap. THIS IS YOUR DEAL!!!

These 2001 Cobra wheels are 17" x 8" wide. They are ONE inch narrower than my '96 Cobra R's. The offset is +32mm. They rubbed a bit on the driver's side back fender only when 2+ ppl are inside the car. I just got the fenders rolled at 2pm this very afternoon.

So that being said, these are the spacers I bought. They are 1" wide. Most other spacers are 1.5 inches. THEY WON'T WORK!

Here's a picture of the fender rolling. $20 p/fender. $40 for both & only 20 minutes to do the job. They call him the "Fender rolling King of Miami" & that he is!

So, in my case, $120 for the spacers, $40 for the fenders & free wheels? Can't beat that!!!

For most ppl? Add your typical $400 for a set of used wheels like these! So for $560.00 you have yourself a sweet set of wheels & so far I don't think anyone else has these wheels on their Marks. Well worth it if you ask me.

NOTE!: THEY DO NOT STICK OUT, THEY DO NOT LOOK AWKWARD!!! They look perfectly flush.

Yeah yours are cobra rs, his are the newer 99-02 cobra rims which they also put on some 03-04 GTs..different wheels (at least the ones he just put on are)
