I finally got sick of the peanut butter interior so this is what I did last weekend. I still have to take a few after pictures but most of it's done except for some wiring on the door panels. A while back I also repainted my Gen II mirrors and those have just been bolted in. Those just need rewiring too.

I figured this would be a good time to do this with the new radio going in. I have had the Gen II interior sitting in my dead 94 since 2005 and I just haven’t got around to it. Well now that I got rid of the wife I finally have the time to do it. The seats are just recovered 94 frames with 97 leather but I’m going to move the leather to my 95 frames since they actually move and work quite well. Plus I have a mint foam and leather from another Gen II that will be replace the current one so it will be like having a brand new seat.

Plus I added a few other things that I have had laying around like my 93 door sill plate and what not. Still looking for C/C buttons if any one can get some for me you will be my hero of the week!

I will try to get a few after pics once I get her cleaned up.

Interior swaps suck and I didn't even do the dash but I like to see a black interior being put in. I went from lite graphite to black but in a two tone way.

Since these pics, the next day or two, I put in the black door panels and I'm done with it now and never want to do another one. I wouldn't even attempt the dash but I too like the 95 dash better than the 93-94

Are You shure the color of the removed interior is tan, not saddle?
Because if it is really saddle, we can make a deal...

I love pic with the whole interior against the garage. It just looks funny for some reason ;)

Great work so far. I bet you're psyched to get it finished.

2 DieselDan. I'm interested in: whole instrument panel'95/96 (only the panel itself, nothing like insrument cluster, airbag, deflectors etc)+ console'95/96, keyboard for infocenter'95/96, maybe a rear seat back with armrest, all parts saddle. The panel is ment to be like in this theme - saddle with black top.

I still have a little work aside from the wireing left but it's about 90% comp......As for the front seats those are getting the Gen II leather but the rest of that pile is up for grabs.

Nick, 95's did not come with an arm rest, 96-98 only. otherwise whats in the pile is what I got.

Kirk, I got it in my back shed, I'll try and remember it this weekend.

Great....
Thanks Eric

I did ask about the colour of that parts only, did not ment anything else unless it is really saddle, not tan...

The Correct term is "Saddle Tan" but I prefer peanut butter tan. The only other tan is "Mocha Tan" but that was a 93 option only.

According to www.markviii.org there is no "tan" color for 1Gen, only Saddle.
So, it seems that I'm very interested it your "tan" parts... but not ready to pay much, and not now, a few weeks later... maybe, begin PM?
