Need Lite Graphite LSC drivers seat back ASAP!

I ordered a drivers side seat back on ebay and just got an email from the guy that hes not sending it and will refund me. I needed that seat! Mine is broken from the accident and every time I get in or accelerate it leans back more and I have to bend it back. Its gonna break soon :(

So if anyone knows of just a LSC seat back in good shape please point me in that direction, I need this yesterday.
 
all you need is the frame, your foam and skin can be swapped over. i already told you i have plenty of the frames but you didnt listen!!

Fine, then send me one. Its just such a major PITA to put the leather on the bastard. I really wanted to avoid all that but seems I will have no choice. Are the 1st and 2nd gen seat frames the same?
I may have a friend here that has one so I will PM you after I speak to him. Thanks Jamie.
 
If you can't find one there are a lot of them listed on Car-part.com. Why wouldn't the guy on Ebay sell to you?
 
i have one that is a kind of worn in light graphite. If your leather is nice, you may want to take Jamie's offer.
 
Thanks Brandon and I am interested. My leather is nice but new would be nicer. As for the bracket I believe sapperfire is pulling me one now but I will hold off on changing ir if Brandon comes through.

As for why the guy wouldnt sell it he sent an email saying that it got a scratch on the back when he went to box it up and wont sell defective stuff and issued a refund.
I was mad and sent a mad email. I didnt swear or call him names but told him it was very important to me to get that seat and that he should have just emailed me to see if the scratch was OK. I am sure its fine and would have taken it anyway. Now I have to wait 4 days for that money to get back into the bank. Pisses me off cause I drove an extra 30 miles and took off work early to put money in the account I use for Pay Pal to cover that seat.
I dont let money bother me too much but damit my time is important and no abundant so when it gets wasted I get pissed. :mad:
 
Thanks, Brandon called and said its really easy to swap the leather so screw it. If sapperfire was able to score me a second gen back then I will swap it. If not I will buy Brandons seat back.

This is so freaking aggervating! Brandon called and cant find the seat and then reminded me again about how chitty my luck is. The dude that had the other seat hasnt returned my calls the past couple days eaither. Sapperfire could only find Gen 1 seats in the Austin junkyards (thanks for checking mang) and the local places dont have them. The places in Dallas do not have any Gen 2 seats eaither. Well correction, they ALL have passenger seats. :mad:

This is pissing me off enough to sell the fugger.

I bought the Mark specifically as a DD. Its serving its purpose but if I cant repair it due to no parts then it no longer serves its purpose. Im poor but still want a nice car to DD that is comfertable and quick. Maybe I should just get a 300C.
 
If you are not looking for a matching color, car-part.com had several in your area.
Your observation on the lack of parts is what is making me question modding the car or selling for something else.
 
What about that Gen II that GMAN took parts from? Looks like the seat is still there. Worst case scenario is you have to use your own skin.

The ones listed are for RH side, not LH. Then there are a couple listed but when I called them they are no longer available and one has a broken seat back. I used that site but there just are not any that I seem to be able to put my hands on.
 
If u find a whole set ill buy ur old seat. I just need the track. Mine does not travel back n forth

No, no i wouldnt when i bought my 2002 Mustang GT it was just a toy and the Mark 8 was my DD. After a few weeks of driving the Mark 8 sh*t started to break all the time and the only parts i could find were on Ebay, so i just DD the Mustang since it was almost new with 40,xxx miles on it. After i got the cash to fix the Mark 8 i drove it when i had to work out of town and im glad i did......all the sh*t youve had happen, happened to me in my Mark and im soooo glad i did because it save my Mustang from all the damage that happened.

Im saying if you want to keep it a nice car, buy a cheap car to drive MOST of the time and leave the Mark 8 for really nice days and weekends. When i had to DD the Mustang after i moved here to Louisville and the Mark 8 was wrecked, so much stuff happened to it in such a short time frame (like you) it broke my heart and i was so on edge everytime i had to park it where i couldnt see it. Im just saying, ive been in your shoes before.
 
Well the dude with the original seat I bought finnaly called me and we agreed on a price and for him to ship it out FedEx tomorrow so that it may arrive Saturday.
 
Just the seat n track or just seat. Let me know bout the track if you have and xtra one
