National LS Meet Attendence List!!!!!

Alax, drizzle, joe, mlara, the rest of the jersey guys, guest appreance Quik, ohio members, m4rk, marccred !?!?! What are all you noobs doing? Thought for sure this meet would have like 30+ people wanting to go but I guess people were just blowing smoke..
Its a lot of wear and tear on the vehicle and a lot of money. Yeah its highway but still we arent getting 30mpg. Gonna cost several hundred dollars that could be better put to coils or coolant pieces.
Save up.. its been planned for like 6+ months hah. I dunno I apologize if anyone takes it the wrong way, I dont have children/wife/real job so I can't fully understand... Just a broke college student lol. I hope you all can make it though!!
My intent is to go. Only my car not being finished or a last minute bail out by most saying they are going would stop me. I could not justify the cost/distance to only see 6 other cars even though it would be great to meet fellow members.
Gateway dragstrip is 15 minutes away.
Just a drag or they have a road-course there too?

this. I am also in college and dont have a lot of extra money, but not spending money on mods/entertainment/restaraunt for around a month is already a few hundred bucks... And that is just like a month of the 10 or so we have had to plan.
We have known about this since like the fall. If you can't save a few hundred bucks over almost a year then wow.
Not trying to be a d!ck either, but some of the people who are maybes or don't want to spend any money are less than a state or two away. Pretty sure there is at least one member coming from FL, and a couple from the north east.
Like I can understand people on the west coast and maybe arizona not being able to make it - but the rest of you, SHAME!!!!!
I think I said this in the very first thread for this thing - but I would be dissapointed in anything less than 20 LSes. This thread gives some hope, but there are seriously members on this board that I would really like to meet (lots of homo). It may be weird since most of us only have forum relationships, but there are dudes on here who I would trust with thousands of dollars of mine. *brofist*

Easier said than done.
I had tons of money saved up (over 10K) and due to different crap going on i dont even have half of that anymore. Keep getting pulled left and right...too many bills not enough skrilla.

It would cost around $300 to go round-trip from Dallas to St. Louis assuming you drive it in on shot. I think it's a 16 hour trip. Plus $200 for the hotel.
There's going to be two beds in my room if anyone really wants to come but can't afford the hotel.

College student making that co-op money, nothing to do here so I'm left to working out, drinking brew (Hopslam at the moment ), and playing with my car. I was always a maybe in the first place but if it were a go/no-go gauge, kinda like the scale you have to apply to the women at our school, I'm a go!
Would like to put a face to some of the names on here, no homo, wait, little bit of homo, check that, no homo! I don't have a heavily modified car, not like that's a requirement, but I've never met someone else in person with an LS. Came close last week when a Gen I that was beat to hell parked next to me at the local Marsh.

Drizz, I learned along time ago never to count what's in another man's pocket for him. Some, have children, multiple mortgages, and car payments. I am not one of them but I also will never tell someone what they should have in their bank account based on my own financial experiences.

Not trying to say anything or point the finger. I noticed your name isn't on the "attending list". Are going to make it? Or are you waiting to see how many members commit?
I'm going next year. Can't this year work won't allow it. Plus the car isn't in the shape I would want the LVC members to see ATM. Trust me I'd drive from Connecticut to drink some BEER with you guys. Hopefully next year the BEER will be even colder.

Honestly, I am hoping to make this a yearly thing. Just need members to commit this year to get the ball rolling. I think once this happens. More member will make plans to attend next year and the years after that.

I am the one trying to get these other dudebros onboard. I want people to realize this is a national meet - as in this possibly won't happen ever again. (especially if this one flops).
But if it is fun and it ends up being tradition, that would be sick. We could even move it around.

I'm there next year where ever it may be. I think next year Sturgis. Heck, the bikes can do it, why the heck can't we fill the city with LS's?
I don't care where it is. Most mid west guys are going cause it's close. But heck I'd drive from here and hang if work permitted. Me and the wife would love some time away. Definitely down for next year. Car will be a totally different "being" next year.
If I throw $50 in everyone's hand to seed the local "gentlemans" club, does that help the attendance list? LOL
