My luck, I'm not the first to post this, but wow!

You know when someone says "Man, I wish I could go back in time and buy this or that and put it up so that I could enjoy it now"? Well here's someone a chance. I'd do it if I had an extra $13k around. Very nice ride indeed!

Well, at 13k, the reserve is not met.

There was a guy down in NC with a gold Spring edition who was asking 45k for his car at one point.

I'm guessing this guy is looking for 20k+ for this one. Perhaps even more.

k9t8m posted a add not to long ago off of cl that has a black on black 98 allways garaged with 14k miles on it for 8k.Dont know if its still for sale.Cental Illinois
 
This car is a true Number 0001. It was built in the early April to showcase the new design center cap at the Ford HQ here in Dearborn, MI. It doesn't sound like much, but if you want the first CE, this is the one. There is one bummer thing about it that stopped me from buying it couple months back, the driver's quarter panel was repainted, and while the paint match is ok, there is a tape line under the rear window moulding since they didn't lift the edge to paint under. It's a big no no IMO, especially in a car of this $$ price tag.
 
That's pretty cool. Too bad about the paint though. I would think that it wouldn't take much to fix something like that though, right? I could be wrong though.

It's not about $$ to fix it, it's about it being repainted in the first place, at least for me ;) Cordovan is a PITA, almost as much as Toreador Red when it comes to making it look factory. If I am spending $18k on it, I want it to be 100%.
 
also the door plaque is on the "door" and not the door jam where it's supposed to be, could be a hint that it's had more work done in that area...

Hell I could get a sticker company to make a duplicate of that sticker for 20.00.
I wonder if it's really 0001
