So I just got done replacing the ride height sensors, and the solenoids and put a compressor in this week/weekend. And I noticed that when I had it up in the air the right side hung lower then the left side. Ive never had this happen on any car. In fact the right side is a full inch and a half higher then the left. Any thoughts on what could cause this?

Sometimes the struts bind and will not extend. I had this problem on Jamie's 98. Time for new struts.

Thats what I was thinking and hopping it was not being the struts are only a year and a half maybe two yrs old.

The only thing makes me think its something else, other then the struts, is that when all the air is out of the system it sits on the ground level.

one of your height sensors in the front is either way out of adjustment from the opposite side, or you have a bad front height sensor.

I replaced both of them... But even with them removed the suspension still hangs more on the right. I think I could be something mechanical.

I replaced the entire front and this summer. I don't remember what brand I used.

Well after going to a shop where a buddy works this morning I finally figured out why my front end is doing what its doing. The bushing that the air strut sits in on the lower control arm is totally crushed and dead. That would explain why my front end is doing an impression of a pair of testicles.

When you tigtened the UCAs was the car on the ground with the suspension loaded? First time I did them I tightened them while the car was up and they would bind up pretty bad. Then Jamie came along and pointed out my dumb assesness.

I think they were hanging when I did it. But I dont really think the quality of the part is that great. I just ordered a Moog Front Lower Control Arm Bushing Kit. So I hope it wont go again once I put that in.

That bushing kit is from the LCA to strut rod. If the strut (not strut rod) bushing is bad then the arms need to be replaced.

Wish I could help with the best way to do it but I never tried to press those ones out before. Dont look fun.

Ive got a really good machine shop just down the street from me so I will go ask them before I do it.

All you need is a hydraulic press. Fortunatly Sapperfire has one at his work place but to do it at home without a press just aint gonna happen. That will be a tool I dont skimp on when I open my shop. I want a nice big Dake with an electric pump and have the big delux kit of press rings and plates. :)

I plan to take it to a machine shop and have them press it in... I might be crazy and like doing things myself but Im not that crazy

I really guess I am crazy... Because a normal person would just replace the LCA but a crazy person would replace the bushing... something ten times harder
