Well she came home at 1:00 o'clock and we are starting the process. After going to get it I realized how neglected it had become. Once I bought the chamelion I put her on the back burner.:(:( I wish I never had. :(:( This car is too fun to let sit idle.

Stall converter, exhaust, and a rockin stereo. The interior is a little thrashed, but I raised 2 kids in this car also.

This is my fun car not my showcar. The chamelion is a completly different animal in my eyes. This car is gonna be fast. Real fast. My funds are back in order and I can start havin' fun with them all again.

In the next year this is gonna become the beast. :burnout::burnout::nos::nos:

Here is the first part, I know it isn't much but I haven't had much too give lately. :D:D Let's hope the chamelion doesn't get jealous and protest.:D:D

Whats up with the latch on the center console?

GL with the clean up man.

Someone else did the dash and it's a close match to the car. And the console was that way when I bought it also. I need a new armrest and a cupholder lid also. Here we go again.

I had an arm rest but good ole Dan up there bought it. I have a good ashtray door but the cup holder door has one side broke. It may be able to be glued and fixed. Still has the painted white emblems on them too.

I'd be willing to try to fix your console lid if you want. I'm talking about how its peeling up on the sides, but I don't know if that latch makes that lid unwanted and you want something else. I've had good luck fixing 1 lid that looked like that, where the pad started to lift up off the plastic frame. Let me know.

I would rather have a new lid this one has always been fugly. The interior is the least of my concerns the exterior is rough as well. I need the wheel for the right rear first. Then a little body work and anything else that comes up.

Those rims are horrid, one of my neighbors has a gold Mark with those same rims..thing is trash..
There a guy with a green one, chrome 10s and he's sellin them..there's a thread bout it..they look nice but they are backwards..lol

I have told that guy to flip those rims a thousand times. I would like to get them if they don't sell.
And YEP as a child I was diagnosed ADD and adhd. So when the DMV gave me that tag my mother laughed her ass off.

And yes it is fun. But I feel a little bad since I am half the reason the car looks this way.

Here are some more pics. the back is now finished and I am onto the engine. And I can't forget that my cousin and best friend has done a hell of a job on the interior so far.

Great pics. I'm learning a lot from this thread. Never knew you could use a sledge hammer that way.

Well this was not a good day. You heard how she ran last night. Well I went to hit the highway and she was stumblin and boggin like hell. WTF!!!

So I get to the shop and and she'll barely idle. I pull in and pop the hood and start tapping on stuff. I bang the MAF and she dies. :q:q:q:qIN :q:q:q:q:mad::mad::mad:

Well the shop was humpin and I was late. So me and my cousin pushed her out. We Got caught up and I jacked with it again. Banged the sensor and it fired up and ran fine.So I put it in the shop and put a pair of 235 65's on the back 10 bucks couldn't beat it. Pulled it out and as I put it in park the battery light comes on.:mad: So I tested it and it was done. I bought that alt from ford it was the 140 amp cobra alt. Well I didn't have the receipt on it and wouldn't make it home so I bought one from sloreily. :q:q:q:q this is killing me. Well everything is well now and she is doin good.

ive got a spare maf should you need one pm me and let me know or when i call you tomorrow

Yes I am still running a stock one. It could be just dirty. It was parked for so long with no filter in it. But the coming back to life after banging on it worries me.

You have vacuum leaks. These cars are notorious for having them. It would be good preventive maintenance to change all intake manifold gaskets, and the IAC as well. It will be a pain in the ass, but the car will be 100% better.

Well She is still running as stron as she ever did, still needing a little but very drivable for the meantime. I aquired some wheels yesterday that are ten fold better then the ones on the car. Here are the wheels with the center caps in them. Monday I will be putting them on the car hopefully. If the shop isn't too busy.

And since these are for the red garnett car I should have posted it here in the first place. :p
