Mclaren grilles

patience is a virtue...from what he tells me, there is a lot more work and $$$ involved than we may think ;)

...very true... I did one years ago for the LS that was no were near his quality and god it was tough... Lasted awhile...

yeah... I had my grille broken a few years ago... so just for fun i cut out all the waterfalls... problem is, the waterfalls aren't solid. so after cutting, i had to bondo all the gaps... then sand and paint... It was a mess... I'll look for a picture

Cant really see it in this pic... I'll look for more at home

I'm sure his arm isn't helping him get this done....any ways...I want my clear lenses first...haha

Broken arm doesn't help.Looks like I'll need surgery because the bone is now displaced :(

Yeah. I broke my arm two weeks ago.

The grilles will be made, not as soon as I hoped now, but they will be made within a few months.

There's no replacement for displacement.

JK, just wishing you a speedy recovery, having a broken anything sucks.

You know I'm in on the CDC surround but add me to the mclaren list as well.

Sorry to hear about your arm man, broken bones suck!
Hope you recover fast

I wonder how many active members own an actual McLaren? Not owned, but currently owns one.

I'd take a CDC and a Mclaren if possible Alax. Hope the arm isnt too bad and heals up well. Good luck my LVC brother

wait...

Alex, theoretically could you make one piece CDC grilles? I'd like one of those...as well as the mclaren of course.

Since it seems to be on topic, these items go for paint tomorrow..... A second gen 2 LSE grill is on it's way(just need the surround so the remaining Mesh from Alax's CDC can be cut to fit and installed). Painting the mesh Satin Black.

The fun part will be which of the 3 grilles to use and the color options Manoli has now given me as far as emblems. :D
