Jamie, did that green Mark VIII come from Colorado?

If so, I met the guy that claims to have done most of the work on it. He now runs the "Auto/Hobby Shop" on base here in Goose Creek, SC. It's pretty much an automotive shop only available to military personnel, where they have all the tools you could ever need, and like 6 or 7 lifts for rent ($2.50/hour)

i'm not sure where he was from, he has a stock green 93 or 94 also that he drives and bought some stuff off us and bought a door handle for that tubbed one and sent us pictures, he said i think you guys might get a kick out of my toy mark VIII i had more pics but cant find them, of the motor, the front suspension and the tubular rear frame with the axle and suspension pics, its really done nicely, its not hacked at all.

That blue pickle fork is freakin awesome! The mark I cool, but WOW! that boat!
I googled liberator pickle fork boats and I came across this on google search and thought it was cool that I found lvc
I have always loved pickle fork boats. My dad would always bring me to boat drags when I was younger. I want one of these PF boats! Or an old school Hydrostream :D

We had a customer take us for a rip in his 125mph pickle fork boat a bunch of years ago. Dunno what kind it was now, but dang it was fun! The back end was pretty well under water when it was stopped, lol... :D

I am not knocking the two guys that put the BBC's in the Mark because just putting a big block anything in a ride is always cool and different in most cases. But the thing that is NOT different is putting a CHEVY in the car.

I understand it,I really do.It all started with hot rodders back in the 50's when the SBC replaced the beloved Flat Head as the engine of choice but you would think it has gotten old by now. These days you can match or surpass the power of a Chevy SBC or BBC with a SBF or BBF for the same amount of money.

Every year I go to the Route 66 here I see many 30's and 40's Fords that have Chevy engines. And the same goes for Buicks,Pontiacs and OLdsmobiles. The cars look really nice inside and out and you can have a good conversation with that until the hood get opened and than the talk gets a little like,oh.

Now if you truly want to be different slap in a Boss 429 or 427 Cammer and that conversation will never get dry.And you would be putting Chevy powered rides on the trailer.

(OK,they may cost a bit more but you get the point)

And aslo that fork boat? That looks sure looks like it would be one hell of a ride.Scary as hell to press that nitrous button I bet but damn that would be fun.

i can tell its got something other than the factory irs in it because of how narrow the rear wheel base is. if it has a 9 inch in it chances are its probably got at least a partial tubular frame, at least a back half. chevy motor or not i dont care, i think its cool. i dont know what it has for a motor in it, i cant find the motor pics i had, but this mark is pretty sick looking too, but this one is on a tubular chassis with a fully tubbed rear. something about a prostreet mark VIII gives me a chubby. this guy actually sent me these pics thru email because he bought some parts off me for his street driven mark VIII, its the same thing they are both deep jewel green!!

If this is the Mark I think it is I have seen it run at E-town and also on Pinks in MapleGrove. When I saw it at Etown it has SVO stickers on it so that would def say it's FOMOCO powered
