Look what i woke up too

Some of it looks like it will come off. But the parts on the bumper and hood and trunk are a no go. I am just going to let it sit until it is looked at. My headlights are destroyed as they have been keyed and painted over.

I hate people for reasons like this, hopefully insurance comes through

Hopefully it was a random act and someone doesn't have any reason to harm you or vandalize your car. hopefully the Police can Catch who did this to your car and have them sent to prison.

you'd be surprised what a buffer can do over elbow grease. if insurance wont cover, try a local detail shop. prop be cheaper that you deductible anyway... just an idea

have you tried geting some rubbing compound and buff it yet, I know if it was me I would be doing it day til night until it was fixed...

Forgot to give a update on how my car turned out. It was down for 40 days but in the end it all worked out so here you go. I got new headlights, bumpers, mirrors & hood. Plus a whole new paint job. It was a doosie on the price of the damage but i am happy to have it fixed.

Let me know what you think.

Wait... why would they replace those pieces if it was just spray paint?

Also you should have had them paint the lower grill black.

But the car looks smokin' now, nonetheless.

Let me know what you think.

I would think you are lucky you have an '06. On an older LS that repair might be enough to have the insurance total the car. Dont know how that works, if its just a straight math (% vs. value) or what. I have a $100 deductible to cover crap like that. I'd love for someone to do that with some white paint on my car :shifty:

His car is not an 06...

I agree...

The spray paint looks like to be somewhat a "wide" dispersal. Instead of real, heavy, and "close-up nozzle spray action.

You should be able to "hand-rub" everything off and if not "machine-buffing" it out should do the trick; as long as you don't eat away at the top clear-coat.

> Damn, I replied without reading page 2 of the comments... I guess I'm too late..oh well, my duhh???

The woman at the body shop said she didnt even want to try and get the spray paint off only because it had scratches in it as well. So she just decided to repaint and replace most parts. Which i was very happy about.

I should have had the rockers and rear valance painted as well but it slipped my mind.

But overall i am very happy with the car and only have a few things left.
