look what i saw in clearwater this morning

i see marks all the time but this was a rare site! 98 base model spring feature. god the gold color is even nastier in person!!! rare but ugly. besides the one i parted out a few years ago, this is only the 3rd one i have seen in person.

I've seen one once, when I was going to pick up my current car in Ohio I saw an old couple driving a beat up base gold spring feature car on I-66 near Front Royal, Va. I have no idea why people think that ugly color makes them more valuable.

Sure enough, it's still for sale for $45,005 OBO, although now he'll take in the region of $35,005 - bargain!

He's had that car listed for over three years now.

Its been for sale longer than that. Five years ago when I was looking for a Mark, it was in autotrader.

When I was in Madeira Beach last month I was kinda shocked at the lack of Marks

Matter of fact there was a lack of anything all the way to Porches and BMW's but I figured with the lack of rust I would see more Marks puttering around?

I have seen pics of them. Not my cup of tea. I just havent seen one in real life. So unless you wanna go find the car and drive it here so I can see it then you can take that picture and rub it on your chest!

There was a diamond anniversary mark for sale here about a year ago, with about 110k miles, but the interior wasn't in good shape and it had a big dent in the driver's quarter panel. I think he wanted like $1600 for it.

it doesnt, prairie tan actually isnt bad. prairie tan is alot closer to silver that the nasty gold above!

I thought the Spring Feature was a base model? That one you took apart was a LSC.

only a few lsc's were produced, i think the number was 12 actually, the rest were base.
