I think I saw the guy driving it a couple weeks ago.

If the miles weren't so high, would you buy it????

So I made a call, the guy says the front bags leak down but never throws the "check air ride" message, the car overheats because it has air in the system and needs to be properly bled, and he says the IMRC's need some work. Other than those items, he says the car is almost pristine in and out. I'm thinking about going and looking at it. I got a 101,xxx mile motor that I could drop right into the thing but then of course, the 96 repair gets put on the back burner once again!

Why aren't you buying it right now???

The only CE that I have seen cheaper is the one that sold for $900, but it had 200k on it.

if i was near that car you wouldnt have a chance it would be in my driveway yesterday. who cares about the miles, if its a terd you could part it. ive seen C.E's with 30k miles and the writing on the inside of the door panel wood is gone, that one still says it, maybe its in incredible condition you never know. i'd buy it.

True, just seeing the gold lettering on the inside door panels is a sign of a respected vehicle. CEs, while nothing fancy, do fetch more but for a 98 with just over 100k on the clock is a good price, the CE is some extra icing.

Buy the damn thing, no need to even check it out. I mean even if it doesn't work at all, I am sure you can get 2000 just by selling the CE stuff on it.

Hmm... Im wondering if the gold script really is there. Misleading for sure.

Left: LOD picture. Right: Craigslist picture.

Either he is/was a member and posted the pics to LOD. In which case by now the lettering could even be worn off.

Or he stole the pic. Good eye though!

Yeah, that particular pic could be from the same car. you never know! Lol. It's funny the crap you remember! Lol.

Mind, assuming the car is good etc, be definitely worth a look. Just haggle harder if the script is missing!

Buy It ???? yep.
But I would not have posted it !!!!!!!
Atleast untill it was mine.

My car was in fair condition... and the gold script was rubbed off on the drivers side and was intact on the passengers side...

the steering wheel and shifter handle along will fetch 800 bucks on ebay, why is there a question of doubt here lol, you may have screwed yourself posting it before you at least looked at it.

I really don't have the money for it right now or I would consider it, just paid taxes on the new car today, that cost me half what this guy is asking, plus looking at moving soon, need money for that.

Just the wrong timing, I'd say, if someone else wants it, they can have it.

He did say he had someone else coming to look at it today though.

I talked to him the day he listed that. He gave me a HUGE list of things it needed. Yes its a rare CE, but from what I remember it needed it would have beenso much work I wouldnt have given him the full asking price.

The funny part is i went down to STL the next day for the Monster Mopar Weekend, and i never even thought to go look at it while I was down there.

If I could sell my TC I would probably buy it. Maybe....

How was M.M.W.? I drove by and there seemed to be a lot of racers. I had to run across the river for gas and smokes.
