I replaced the cracked front coolant loop and 1/2 gallan of coolant. SO while I was in the garage I got motivated and painted the front wheels wells. Since I already had the wheels off I figured what the heck......So I did a quick wash and snapped some cell phone pics. It's getting detailed and new exhaust tips in April, so I'll have real pics after that. Anyways, enjoy the pics!

Yep. They were silver frost from overspray. They didn't tape them off when I had the car fixed years ago. I finally just got motivated to do it. I used undercoating and black spray paint. If I did it again I'd use bed liner, because the undercoating is brown!

looks great. if i ever leave my black ls i may get a silver ls (gen 2 of course)

Those silver sentas were made for a silver LS. Perfect man. I am super jealous!

And the wells look nice and black. I need to attack mine with some back to black. The problem is i can't get to them without removing wheels. Lazzzzyyyyy

I love your car man.

Very nice!!!!!!!! Look great. It looks like a whole new car

Thanks for the nice comments guys.

what lugs are you using Joe?

I'm using the Dorman brand sebring lugs. They work well but the chrome is cheap. A few of the lugs have some deep rust and I only bought them a year ago. I'm going to attack them with some compound and #00 steel wool soon.

For wheel wells, I use Chemical Guys Bare Bones. or else I will use whatever tire dressing I need to get rid of. Of course, I give them a thorough cleaning first with meguiar's Super Degreaser. Brings them back to factory fresh every time.

What's this with the lugs?? I called a place about some wheels and they told me I needed the Jag lugnuts, but that the LS doesn't have the correct thread and pitch. I told him to STFU and sell me the wheels.. :shifty:

I never heard of this sh*t before, I thought he was crazy.. Now I read this??

Honestly I've never thought much of silver cars, they just seem boring to me but yours is probaly the 1st LS that I've truly truly liked!!! It just looks so f'ing clean!!! Those sentas fit perfect all the way around!!!

They are standard 12x1.5 lugs. I had an issue starting the first lug on each wheel, because of the angle. After I got 2 turns it was fine.

Thanks man! It's taken along time to get the LS where it is now.

I use the stock LS lugs with my sentas with no problem, just dont use an air gun to put them in.
