There's a line that runs and then terminates to the left of the box that holds the air filter. Has a cap on the end of it. Is that the low pressure line for the A/C?

Well you got me, I just wanted to know what that line was for but now I'm curious where the low pressure fitting is. It's always been obvious on my other cars but unless it's the thing on the canister then I don't know.

Here's the pictures I took.

You have an oddball a/c line... The high side port is right but that low side line is odd. It usually pokes up between the upper radiator hose and the air box. I have never ever seen a line like that in a Mark.

So the port in the first picture, where it's sticking up to the left of the box, is the high pressure port?

And if it is and you're talking about the other line, there is no port on it that I see. Just that port on the canister and that port next to the air box. Is the low pressure port missing? I don't see how that's possible.

The port on the accumulator is the low side. The other port is the high side. It looks to be bent out of position. In one of you pics, I see a line clamp which is down the side of the shock tower. That is supposed to be clamped up top to one of the shock studs.

Low side port is here.

The other one has to be the high side.

Alright, thanks. Bizarre. Guess someone messed with it before me.

Just remember, if you ever have to add any 134A, fill at the port in the pic above, not the other one. I never had a can explode in my hand but I don't think I would want a refreshment like that lol

Don't worry, with a 134a system, you can't fill from the high side with portable cans. The nipple is too big.
