Kansas Missouri Arkansas Nebraska come to Hooters for the first cruise of spring!!!!

Wanderlustkustoms.com

We definitely have Mark VIII experince. I have a 96 LSC and a 93 that is going to be transplanted under my 63 Ford stepside. Hope to have it at least driveable for April trip to Las Vegas for Rockabilly rebel rod event April 1-4.

So you have a dyno and the capability to flash an SCT chip and get me one also?

I am a mechanic I will be doing all hard parts installs myself until I can't pick up a wrench.:D But as far as dyno pulls and a tune on an SCT chip I will need help. Perhaps you could get us an LVC discount? Or a Club discount? If not I would still rather come to a shop that has first gen Mark experience.

Yep, I defiantly have 1 gen experience. :D

HOOTERS MEET MARCH 20TH! OR There could be an early meet like this weekend. Lets say this weekend at the auto show top of the parking garage at 1!:oo am. Sunday. I will already be there. I have my tickets, If anyone else plans on it let me Know. Times could be adjusted a little. And by the way it is only 10 bucks to get in.

Sorry short notice.:D

I could possibly be there but I wont be in my Mk8.

Hell yeah on the alignment! My guy quit the local stealership and I wasn't sure where I was gonna go. PM the shop addy and if I need an appointment give me the phone # as well.

Nothing better than one Mark brother taking care of another

we can order and flash your tuner, not quite sure what type of dyno we got going on yet. I have only been here two weeks so far. Still finding out what equipment we have.

Hello there. New to this forum but not new to the Mark VIII. I own a Mark VIII that I have done a small amount of work to and live in Springfield, MO. The wife and I would like to make the trip up there if everyone is OK with it.

The Mark VIII population is rather low here in Springfield, and while sometimes I see one drive by, I have never actually been exposed to a well kept Mark VIII. It would be nice to see a few of them in a parking lot.

In regards to the drama with the KCSR site, I would respectfully ask for you two to bury that hatchet before this event gets "crashed" by some testosterone morons. I am too old, too tired and too well armed to deal with that crap and if that is something that is going to come up, I'd rather just skip it than have to discuss the aftermath with the KCPD.

We would be honored if you would join us. And I'm pretty sure it has been resolved already they have moved on to bashing the magnum guy in the thread now.

Consider us there, then. Devin and Amy, I drive a black '94 Mark VIII. It is probably the most boring Mark VIII on the road, but I have fun with it. It will be enjoyable to meet other Mark VIII enthusiasts.

Hi Devin and Amy. I'm Tim and I have the most boring Mark VIII :D. At least you have woodgrain! Black is beautiful baby!

Well even though mine is a '94 model year, it was actually made on September 10 of 1993. My understanding is that the first few '94s are really '93s and as such mine came without the woodgrain. I later added the wood center console from my donor '94 so I am halfway woodsy.

I personally like the wood better. The 93 is too plain, the interior in the red one is beyond help. But it's the fast one so it's alright. The 93 is nice. But the interior in chamelle is wonderful and beautiful.

I am looking for the wood for my 93. I hate the "rubberized" crap they put on all the trim.

We have a guy in the club with a 2 tone 96, pics are a couple pages back in this thread, his interior is freaking awesome! Gen 2 panels, custom leather and paint to match trim.

Should we drive up my son's 93 black on black or my 96 LSC toredeur red that has hail dents and my work car?

Hooters Meet

Hey everyone just wanted to say this should be a helluva meet and we are going to have a decent turnout. I say drive the red 96, But I am partial to these just as Tim is partial to the 1st gen Black ones. Welcome to the Springfield couple Devin and Amy, will be good to meet you and the rest of the new faces. Hope to bring you all into the Luxury Muscle Family, so we can have get togethers more often.

By the way, I think it's only fair to mention that while I drive a Mark VIII, Amy drives a 96 Continental. So we are a Lincoln family. :)

Drive them both!

And just because I have a need to pick on you some, you do know that the wheels are backwards on your 96, as well as the back wheels on your 93? :)

You're a very astute member of this forum! The wheels are correct on the cars now. These pictures were taken when we first got the cars.
