Great looking interior but I got to say that color is :yuck::yuck::yuck: I like my 93's color better. Thats a color that only an old person would have bought brand new.

You mean to tell me that car sat in the carport for that lonely lil wasp nest there mounted on the coil pack wiring harness?

I LIKE IT. I wish I could find a deal like that. I have never seen a carriage top car in person. I've seen some that look good in pitures. The pictures are always from a unnatural low angle. Never from natural standing walk around positon. I'm starting to think its for a reason??? Good Luck with it.

No way dude, I can take pictures of all the wasp hives you want! Front suspension is LOADED with wasp hives, trunk had 2 hives that I already took pictures of, I'm sure the undercarriage had several as well but I didn't find any there. I went under the car under the engine area & it looks like a 4 year old car! I'm amazed how new it looks! Oh, NOTE: NOT ONE drop of oil is leaking anywhere!

I suspect this car belonged to his father. The guy probably died & they kept the car as long as possible for sentimental reason & at this point they probably had enough of it just siting there so they posted it on Craigslist!

Let me know what angle you want! The car is solid from all angles! Had not noticed the pictures were "unnatural" lol. I will be washing it & waxing it this upcoming week together with trying to start it!

Sorry I didn't mean you. Yours was from a low angle because it was on a trailer. I was meaning car dealers who have them for sale. I suspect they look better from a low angle because they all seem to do it. But your pictures of it under the car port look like they are from a normal standing height and I still like it. I guess I'm old but I like it.

IT'S ALIVE!!! IT'S ALIIIIIVE!!! BUHAHAHA!!! BUHAHAHAHA!!! Lol... Guys, these Mark VIIIs are amazing. This engine sat for 10 years yet the car started beautifully! It runs sooooo smooth. Granny got stuck on 1st gear on the 1st run then started shifting beautifully. Lights, turn signals, & a/c work amazingly great. Yes, I had to recharge the a/c. Air ride works perfect! Car sat for 3 months in my yard & I thought the bags & struts were frozen in place, I was wrong, they simply have ZERO leaks!!! Wow, what a beautifully smooth ride. Can't beloved I was going to part it out. Wish I had black interior for it. I'd keep it if I had black interior. My mechanic even got the sun roof & the seat tracks to work. 86k truly feels like 86k. I will keep everyone posted with the progress of the car.

lucky bastage... its funny how the best year mark viii are always the cheapest.

Sitting isn't going to kill the car- just means you probably need to replace the fluid, brakes, fuel pump, and tires.
I bought a car that had been sitting for over a decade, behind a building in Vermont and it came to life without much effort at all.

EDIT: Just saw page 2.
Congrats. Maybe you can flip it or found a new project.

You mean to tell me you found a 86,000 mile mark, and didn't even put a battery in to check if it would fire up? I bet it would. Please sell this car complete to someone that knows how to appreciate one of these fine automobiles.

are you kidding. he does appreciate his Marks. he appreciates them so much he sells them when he doesn't have the time or money to take care of them to his liking. psssh. alex is a good guy. also, holy thread revival.
