There has been an abundance of noobs over on the LS side. My avatar needed fixin' :D
 
last week it smelled strongly of oil and fire, the winds were blowing dead east so i could smell it bad, as far as the oil, we arent seeing any yet down here but i guess they are starting to see it near the panhandle. they did declare i think pasco county and hernando county, just north of me, in a state of emergency due to black tide, but i rarely go to the water, so i wouldnt know! i am only a few miles from the gulf.

ill need to get directions but ill plan on it i wish we could try a get together at old towne in kissimee some time

I'm in of course. If I can help you in any way let me know. I have done this with my Boombox forum guys and in 3 years we went from 6 guys to 25 with people from 6 states and Germany (part of their Planned Vacation).

We'll just do it and if 3 or 30 show up its going to be a blast.
I would suggest stay and cook at the park and hang out in the shade and
enjoy the Mark VIII car show and then head to your place for the after party:)

I'm' guessing girlfriends, sweethearts, wives and mistresses welcome right?
My wife would'nt mind to come and help with food and drinks etc if there are others.....

girlies are welcome, kids too, i'll stay at the park for the cookout thats fine, the shop idea was just that, an idea, we stayed at the park the whole day the last time, anyone who doesnt know howard park is a beach too, and a nice one at that. so you can go swimming, if you have jet ski's bring them, the whole causeway is a public launch , i'll have a few friends with me too that dont have marks, so bring a friend or two if they want to come along. Ed once it seems we have a little more interest we'll figure things out more and start planning, my other buddy Ed will love this, he has the toreador red 98 lsc i work on, he is on his 30th wedding anniversary vacation in the keys right now, so as soon as he gets back im gonna let him know.

no gators in the park thats ocean water around the park, the park stick out into the gulf, its gorgeous, and gator is kick ass, specially with the horseradish sauce crap!!
