Interesting LVC knockoff.

Apparently he doesn't realize the common denominator in the equation of all the sites he hates Himself.
 
Wow. That was rich. And as a long-time member of FordvsChevy.com (haven't been there in a couple years now though), I don't feel like LvC is a ripoff of it. They're both good sites with people whom I would consider "experts" in their particular make/model of car(s). LvC just seems to concentrate more on Mark VIII's and LS's, whereas FvC was mainly for Mark VII guys when I was there. Why is it a knockoff when we're dealing with different cars primarily and a different group of guys here? Just the name of the site itself makes it a knockoff? What's the big deal about a name? You could name this place "Ricer:q:q:q:q:q:q:qs.com" and if it still had the same group of guys and the same Mark VIII knowledge base, I'd still be a member. It's just that "LincolnvsCadillac.com" does seem to fit the site better, though. ;)

Bashin' our sites by establishing a site to bash everyone- the most monumental waste of time ever. About as smart as Russian roulette with a clip-fed weapon!!! Freakin' whistle-dick!

What do you mean? Over at FvC? Lux and I were talking about the old days over there not long ago, and I went over to check it out for old times sake, and it does seem to be pretty dead now. It's a shame, considering how active and fun it used to be over there.

I mean, me personally, if I was a member of a forum where everybody was a bunch of dumba$$es and a$$holes like he claims LvC and all those other sites are, I just wouldn't waste my time going back there. End of story. Instead he's taken the time and money (I'm assuming he's paying for that website) just to make a look-alike website to LvC and bash several forums that he, for some reason or another, doesn't get along with.

FVC used to rule 10 years ago. I miss it. It was a good forum with very good people on it.
 
I am kinda shocked that I never was on or heard of FvC :confused:

I have been on NASIOC since 04' and before that a SVX site but when it came to anything with American car stuff nada. Most likely cause I was in a shop that was making 1000HP out of a 5.0 Mustang in the 90's :cool:

EDIT: Besides a few of you who I see here, anybody know where all the rest of the Mark VII guys went who used to hang out over on FvC's Hot Rod Lincoln section?
 
that is the origin of haters gonna hate.

i love this place, i rarely log on to lod and never on .org. it is a damn shame that some people on the other sites have no idea where the best markviii site is.

I was never on fvc but you could check out lincolnsonline I met quite a few VII owners on power tour that post there.

I used to be on FVC in the late 90's (while I was still in high school :) )but I don't think I posted very much. My user name was 88lincmk7lsc.

I think I was more of a lurker there, and didn't really have any real information to contribute...
