Installed V1 into my LS

Are these legal in the states, because I know for sure that there illegal here.
 
I think they're legal everywhere in the USA but Washington D.C. and Virginia.
 
As stated before, the direction indicator (and counter) on the V1 is way more important than many seem to realize. When another brands detector goes off and you don't know where it's coming from what's that like anyway? I've been using V1's (I have 3....so far. moving them from car to car is a pain) so long I can't remember what it was like back in the Escort days. Must have looked funny to be watching me when the detector went off, looking forward, back, to the sides and then the same over and over until the radar stopped. Knowing exactly where it is immediately is such an advantage, I'd take shorter range over not knowing where it's coming from in a heartbeat. On top of that there's the junk radar detection, the multiple bogey feature, the remote module.....Valentine 1's are just excellent.

I put the detector next to the mirror so the visor hides it, the remote display is down under the headlight switch so a pig looking through either window can't see it.
