Lovely morning.

Went out and was happy as could be cause the boss gave me a day off and for the first time in 5 months I had a day where I didnt have to do anything and could stay at home all day. So I decided to go wash the car. Go out back and remember the water hose is broken from someone *cough*sapperfire*cough* forgetting to turn it off when they used it. So I take care of that and throw the hose away then go out front to grab my other hose. I got it all coiled up and unscrew it from the faucet and as I turn around a rattle snake strikes at me and hits my boot (thankfully I wasnt barefoot as I usually am) and I fly back off the steps and land rib cage first into the faucet. Fortunatly the PVC was brittle so instead of my ribs breaking the pipe did and made a beautifull 10' high water fountain.
So I do a mad dash for the water main and take the cover off only to see a small snake size hole and the ass end of a snake going down it. The water valve has 1' of solid mud covering it from all the heavy rain we had last month so I have to start digging and wait for the snake bite.
I finnaly uncover the valve and realize I have no idea where the key is and ended up using two wrenches to turn it off. I grab the pipe that broke off and drive 19 miles to the plumbing store and get a cap that fits. Drive all the way back home and realize that it broke at a coupler and it goes pretty deep. Also should note at this point I didnt know it was a coupler and thought it was a larger diameter pipe as it was as big around as the cap I had.
So I drive back into town and get a few different caps and get back home to cap it only none fit so I dremmel out one a bit and glue it on then wait an hour to turn on the water. Was a neat sight as that cap shot 30+' in the air and the water gushed back out as I turned on the water. So I shut it all down again and dig a hole around the pipe and thats when I see its a coupler so I use a hack saw to get it all off and discover the first cap I bought now fits. I have it glued back on now and am about to try the water again. I am covered in mud and have to poo. Wish me luck.

Have you considered getting the voodoo curse you have lifted by someone?

man u live in hell.
if 2 snakes crossed my path in one day i would freakout and lock myself in my room. i also am ither bearfoot or wearing sandles 99% of the time.

Just so you guys know I dont hate Sapperfire, I just wanted to blame someone for my misery today.

So anyway, one bee sting, one wasp sting and a couple dozen fire ant bites latter and the pipe is no longer leaking. For some reason I lost almost all my water pressure in the kitchen sink though. The washer and the hot water tank are in there and they have solid pressure but almost nothing at the sink. I checked the meter and its not moving at all so I know there isnt a leak but its pretty confusing. I hate this house and am just going to sell it after my fathers crap is through.

So I finnaly got to wash the car. Damn thing kills more bugs then Raid.

As soon as I got done the road grader went by and dropped fresh gravel on my street. :(

Then the UFO chick up the road (I call her that cause shes like 4'3" and 350+ lbs so shes shaped like a UFO) hops on her quad runner and has been flying up and down the road which stirs up a HUGE ammount of dust with the fresh gravel. Fortunatly the cars white so it blends in. Unfortunatly the windows are now white too..... as are the freshly tire shined tires.

I was going to go fly one of my RC planes or helis but dont feel like watching them crash.

Holy $#!+ dude!!! I will never complain about my day again! Glad you got a day off though :D
? It was one of my better days.

Against my better judgement I tried to fly my helicopter and for no reason at all its swash plate seperated in flight and caused it to crash. :(

Did you turn on the kitchen faucet first?

Bet the diffuser screen is full of crap. Unscrew it from the faucet and check for garbage.

Yes I did and good call! Just cleaned it out and works great again! Thanks mang. :)

;) No problem.

Worked as a plumber for two years... A fairly common problem after lines have been worked on. We always took them off prior to flushing lines.

Laser, my 7 year old son just asked me what Mario was doing to the princess lol. He said "is Mario humpin the princess" I said "no, back in the day, he could bump into the princess and get 1 ups"

Luckily he has an XBox and a PS3 so he'll never know.

Anyway, you should have went to work today and worked for free. Do you seriously get all those bugs plastered to your front end where you live? Maybe a night time bra investment would be a good idea for you for the back roads you live on.

Yeah, that was a two day buildup. If I keep it below 70 then its fairly clean but at 100 they cant get out of the way.

They are soon to be "supercharged" on. You're gonna have to do a front end wash every night for the first few weeks. Now it's going to be from 100 to 110 or more. I hope a deer never walks out in front of you.

my Mark gets plastered like that with bugs, once the heat starts.........then in august/sept we get a load of butterflies that decide to fly just a foot off the ground.........

i can only imagine how itll be this year, with the lip on my car

They beat the hell out of the nose too. When it gets repainted I am getting a clear bra done on it. Some of the larger bugs chip the paint. I know there wasnt a chip and I clean of some giant yellow and blue glob and theres a chip under the guts. :(

I can't believe you let the rattle snake get away...those things are good eatin

Dude, i feel your pain.

Yesterday i was working and a bee stung me, so i jumped away from the bush, only to have my foot land and twist my ankle on a lip of grass/mulch, well this went straight up to my knee and BLEW it out (had an injury like 12 years ago and ever since my knee gets BAD when i twist it the wrong way) so i get stung by a bee, twist my ankle, blow my knee out and in the process twist my hip outta place, fall on the ground, and almost smack my face right into the blade of a stick edger.

FML

Took me a good 30 minutes to get up off the ground (yeah its like that) and finally i made it over to the truck. I decided to stay and work (sit down on the dixie chopper) for like 8 more hours after this happened. Bad call. lol i went home a n slept at like 6 pm last night, woke up at 7 this morning and my knee is absolutely wasted, i can barely walk, it sucks.

Worst part is, i had a bunch of stuff to do today around the house, i took it off as i havent had a day off in awhile...and i cant do anything? So imma go and fire up a doob, kick back and relax, FCK IT! what else am i gonna do! lol :D
