ok, so i have a silver frost 98 lsc at my shop, its a new customer, 66k miles on it. now a sort of buddy of mine is a used car dealer, he had the car on his lot, sold it to a guy in tampa who already has a silver frost 98 lsc, but it needs work and has 181k on it, so he found this 98 my buddy had and bought it. of course it needed a new front end rebuild, so my buddy told the buyer he would get the stuff for him at his cost, now, if i was buying a used mark for 6,500 bucks and the front end was shot i wouldnt put a dime down on it until the car was fixed, with no extra cost to the car, but, this guy i guess had to pay for the parts. i have done many front ends for my buddy when he buys marks to put on his lot, and i have said a dozen times buy moog/trw stuff only, the first time he didnt listen to me, he bought O.E crap and had a bad ball joint right out of the box, you think that would make him listen right, no, did another front end for him and he saved money by buying cheap crap again, whatever you buy it, i put it in. so, this new customer brings this 98 to me, i pick up the parts from my buddy and throw them in my trunk, i open the boxes at my shop today, one upper is a trw, one is some huge thick crappy chinese looking thing with a monster upper ball joint and grease fitting, the lowers are no names and one sway bar link was the curved kind and the other is straight, wtf?? they are all in the same boxes from napa, yet inside the boxes are all these mismatched parts, unreal lmfao guess what, i put all the crap in and if the dude blows out the cheap parts soon which i know will happen he can go right back to the dealer and cry there. i'm so sick of people asking me what i think, and they dont listen, i have been doing this :q:q:q:q on these cars for 11 years, 11 years???? i think i know a thing or two now dont you? so why ask what i think, if it goes in one ear and out the other. some cheap mother f-ers out there, who think they are saving money, but these cheaps parts wear out in a year so they spend twice as much to fix it again and again, makes no sense.
