How much have you spent on Your Mark?

well said. reliability in daily driver. my 98 is mine, the more down time the more im stuck in the house, i came out one day and mine was all the way down. it took me about 5 minutes once i figured out what was wrong and weighed repacing all the parts that were screwed and still may have had to replace the bags down the road, or the pump.coils,done. and , yes, really. had to do it they look identical and i cant stand john clayton, someone who probobly never played any sport as an analyst, fool.

Yeah, after a while one can only deal with the a/r for so long. I tried, I failed. Did what I needed to do. Some of us can't risk having a malfunctioning air ride at 6am right before before leaving for work.

~shrugs~
daily driven, original compressor, 183k miles, at school 60 miles from home.
sudden catastrophic failure is a chance i take, but i really really doubt it.

so let's see. not counting replacement or worn items like trans or brakes.

got the car from the parents at 16. $0
4.10s, trac loc, and install $600
alpine head unit $150
subs and box. $100
amp and wiring $150
chrome ten spokes $250
04 Cobra wheels $400
used 17" tires $125
trans cooler $0
hose and clamps $20
JMOD $20
W3Z2 $75
sooo. approximate total $1890 and growing.

$800 for the car
$20 for some used tires with half tread
$100 for the header panel, fender and inner wheel well liner
$20 for a billet grill that's too small but works
$50 for one corner light

Not counting the maintenance thing like plus, wires, coil packs. $990 in mine, still need to drop another $40 for a hood and whatever for a grill. But I'm in no hurry.

That's very neat how you installed 2500 Dominator Air Lift bags in place of the factory Lincoln air bags. What did you do for shocks? How does it ride?

for shocks i had to use one that was 12 inches collapsed so i used nissan hardbody rear shocks then made a new mount for the top. it rides super sweet i useually cruise it no higher than 1-2 inches off the ground and it smooth as hell at 1/2 inch its pretty smooth but will catch the cracks and bumps in the road and at full lift witch is somewhere around 10-12 inches it is a little stiffer but still better than the factory air ride.

i like the ones you have better,

Mine are fux'd though. They don't balance perfectly so I get the wobbles at certain speeds. Figured the ones above(Not really my taste) aren't 2 much and have good meat on the tires(I'd like more tire though). My tires have about 1 summer left in them.

thats why i want to go with 18x10 in rear 18x9 front ithink the size rear was 295 40 18, fr 245 40 18, i like the look of a little more tire out back.which is why i put 255 55 16 on stock rim, same height as stock, but almost 2" wider

i looked at the rear rim has a deep dish style lip and with my current ride height it will fill the fender perfectly and allow enough suspension travel.and when i put the 4.10's and trac loc the extra inch in height will be perfect with speedo calibration

the same amount that i bought mine for 4 months ago $2500. Now running Pristine with a couple of mods. Its going to be sitting for the winter.
