It think the most baller part is that he still had stock wheels on it. Funny to see a stock looking Mark drop the clutch. True baller status.

no i was mainly refering to the guys saying you can do it with a 3500 stall and 4.10s. i can leave the line doing a better burnout than that car did a clutch dump

Maybe I'm wrong but it looks like its just single wheel traction ?? But spinning in a light in the rear Mark is pretty easy. Its hooking up good thats hard to do. A Mark with a standard transmission doing that and hooking up would probably break an axle ?? Cobra's have heavier axles and do it regularly trying to drag race. I know first hand. Thats one big reason I prefer my Mark VIII to the Cobra. I considered putting an auto in the Cobra but the Mark was a muck cheaper alternative. My older brother is more like that though. he has a Cadillac CTS-V with a 6 speed. Good luck with it though.

I would imagine a manual Mark VIII to be more difficult to hook up than an automatic Mark VIII even if the manual was slower in the 1/4 mile. I think the manuals always have the low end torque advantage with similar setups.

Chitty as hell. My best 60' was a 1.94 On my best pass the 60' was actually worse at a 1.99 I think the 145K mile suspension has a lot to do with that and I have no idea what the cookie cutter tune is doing out of the hole at WOT. I'm hoping for 1.8s this year which is where it outta be if I am going to squeeze a low 13 out of it. 1.9s probably aren't going to cut it this year if I am going to obtain my goal.
