How do you like your rear end?

I'm Debating Whether I should buy the gen 1 LSE spoiler and put it on my gen 1 trunk, or buy the gen 2 trunk and tail lights and put the spoiler on that. I have the gen 2 LSE front bumper. what do you guys think? (The cars belong to Marcredd and Alax7 respectively)

I personally like the gen 2 rear end better. I think the tail lights on the gen 1 are too big.

You'll need a gen 2 bumper to go with the gen 2 truck and tail lights.
 
If you take the second route, you will need a Gen 2 rear bumper cover too.
 
Is Alax's trunk popped slightly or do all gen 2's tailights not quite align? Looks to be a gap between the inner lights and the bumper cover.

Yeah I expected that since the rear soround is basically upside down.

Mine doesn't seem to have that gap

Gen one, colored matched surround. If a spoiler is a must then a gen 1 lse spoiler.

Got it like that. M4rk kept telling me to align it by moving it trunk around but it wont go down anymore. Dont know what it is, I'll spend more time looking at it next time.
 
Did someone say ass. I like mine black, tinted, little lipped with some camber

I'm assuming your LS is white, because both of the cars you posted are white. I think in that color the Gen 1 rear end looks better.

On the other hand, Bullschmidt's 2nd Gen. looks great in the back, with the black and the blacked out tail lights. Good luck!

Yours is the only car that makes me actually think about putting the two-tone tailights back on. Of course, they would have to be tinted nice and dark first :D
 
Tires IN at the top is DE-cambered. And disregarding looks, the use of the Escort spoiler does help make the car rock-steady at 150+.:D

That's actually negative camber, Ken. "De-cambered" would have no positive or negative camber. :p

My car is actually silver, Bulls car looks amazing though. I'm ordering the Wing from amazon later tonight, and i'm going to junk yards this week to see if i can find a Gen 2 trunk bumper and tail lights for a low price. Still haven't decided if thats the route i want to go though.
 
-pretty sure the trunk on the white car with cali plates is popped

-to the dude with abraham lincoln boombox avatar, what product did you use to darken the tails? that looks real good

-to the dude talking about going to the junk yard, use car-part.com and just call ahead. have them send you pictures, dicker on the price, yadda, yadda from the comfort of your home...
 
Popped as in opened? If so, its not popped open, it sits like that.
