How bad would a G35 Walk a Mark??

If you can hold the car over 2k then thats a high stall stock converter. It may seem low but brake stall is normally much lower than the advertised stal speed. Thats nice to get stock in a lincoln.

I'll put it a different way. It'll try to push the car forward much lower rpm than low 2k. Its just that around that point is where it'll push throu the brakes or break them loose.

Keep in mind the LS sits heavy on the rears with nearly 50/50 weight distribution, it doesn't spin them easy.

Sure feels like a typical stock stall to me.

The IS350 is crazy fast... saw one at the track with only a cold air intake and catback running 13.5 at 100mph on stock tires.

I don't doubt they are fast, but you unleash the lincoln at highway speeds, and its like a dog with its ass on fire. I've dogged audi's and other foreign :q:q:q:qboxes on the highway like they were towing an anchor

You have to remember, at high speeds, aerodynamics are VERY important. Not so much power to weight ratio, which dominates from 0-60.

I just love when i pull up to an import that i know is 1-2 seconds faster in the 1/4 then me, and i say to myself "if i dropped 2 grand on this Mark, i'd blow his doors off".

One day, i will....and i'll be smiling ear to ear baby!!!

Try racing ... Bmw 335i and you will be buslengths behind. You would be surprised which cars pull hard on the top end...

Yep, I can attest to that. I got trashed by a chipped 335i. I'm not used to getting pwned on the highway, but then again, his $40,000 car beat my $2,000 car so I don't mind.

It's actually funny this thread is going on. I ran into a G35 coupe this morning(guessing 05-06 model). Speed limit was 50mph, so I didn't go much above that, 60mph. Anyways, at 60mph, he only had 1/2 a car on me. I was really happy and impressed w/ the Mark.

Anyways, just thought I'd share since there was already a related thread.
