Didn't visit Arnott for a long time, and what do I see? They discontinued the front air sturts! I know, many of you think it's a junk, but it was an opion at least. The only option now is American Air Suspension's OEM air sturts, but how long they will last before discontinuation as well? And then - 10-12 years, and all the Marks will be in a junk or on springs (that make Mark a different-looking Thunderbird/Cougar, IMHO)?? That's sucks...

It's true. Arnott no longer stocks the front air spring/shock absorber assembly for the Mark VIII. I got lucky with mine. My d/s front air spring sprung a leak after 8 months. Luckily, I got a replacement from Arnott under warranty. So far it's working fine. Later, I find out that they don't stock the air shocks anymore. So unfortunately, the only other "budget" air shock left is the old style Arnott units that are sold through Suncore on Ebay. And they raised their prices!!! They cost like $200 bucks each now. I just hope my "new" Arnott shocks last me at least a couple more years. One has gone more than a year, and the other is just a few months old. But so far they're doing fine.

*crossing fingers and knocking on a LOT of wood!*

It's all only about the old story of discontinued forever parts for Mark (like HID headlights for Gen1, 9500 bulbs, etc.)...

This will help a little, but the wear up of airsturts measure in years of "life" too. I mean that 10 year old airsturts anyway wear up, regardless of car ride...
