Here's my 0-60 Vid.....pretty much in first gear :)

Pulled through my toll road, thought I'd pull the iphone out and get a 0-60 Video.... you'll hear a ring at the start of the video because I set there to long and it thought I ran the toll.... one phone call I'll have to make tomorrow.

Tried a run from a stop, no stall, and it never got traction.... So on the way back, I stalled it up a bit and got less slip but I was watching the RPM drop past 6K and almost let out of it then it shifted.... Love how this thing pushes you in the seat and makes you stay there! The Blower sound is enough to make you not ever want to take your foot out of it.

When everything is just right and the car is launched at 900rpm and the tires hook it will do 0-60 in 5 flat.

I'm not cracking on that car because I love every bit of it so don't take this wrong but my complete stock 95, all the way down to the exhaust will do 5.98 for sure, if it hooks perfect and that's just from the stomp on the pedal. I have a computer swap but that's it.

I do love the blower sound and exhaust sound but it just seems like a lot of money went into that to be one second faster than a stock Gen 1, maybe I'm making sense here but I'm not trying to bash the car at all. Always liked it and always will.

But think about the money spent on a car that runs 13's Vs a car that runs 12's?

Also, I bet it pulls a little harder than your Gen 1 through the quarter, and would ultimately be more than a second faster at the finish line.

Money wise.... Read the list of supporting mods, suspension, brakes, and sound.....

0-60 is short range of speed, and a second faster is pretty damn good IMO. 0-100 would really tell you how much faster it is than stock. But so far though, Limits 95 is the fastest stock.

I have one 0-100 video in my 97 Mark that I did a week ago, it did it in 15.5 seconds.

Very true. With a proper launch its only one second faster to 60 but 2 seconds faster in the quarter and thats only with a 35% gain in power but much more weight then Terrys car.

The big difference would be a drag radial to drag radial run. There you would see a 0-60 in the low 5s to high 4s and a quarter mile time almost 3 seconds faster then a stock 95 on drag radials.

Once I did get the 98 to hit 60 in 5 flat on street tires but never knew how accurate that was because thats using the dyno app on the droid. It has mixed reviews.


But money wise for mods yes, your car can stop and corner FAR better then a stock Mark could hope for.
Thats the big thing I miss. I am slowly getting the grey one there but untill I can afford roll bars this current car will never feel as stable as that one is.
