i was replacing my LCA's today and when i was finished i noticed that my toe is WAY off (oh CRAP) the tires are both noticably about 1/4 turn in. i dont know what i could have done wrong. the only possible thing i can think of is if i got the adjustment wrong on the cam thingy on the very inside bolt. (does this affect toe or just caster?) Any suggestions? my nearest alignment shop is 50miles away on a 75mph interstate and i know my BRAND NEW 1 week old tires wont last 2miles like this

The cam bolts on the LCAs are there for camber adjustment. Camber adjustment effects toe. If they are toed in then you have too much negative camber dialed in. Loosen the camber bolts and turn them so that the bolt is closer to the center of the car.
You still have to get an alignment done.

And just an FYI, these cars like to eat the inside of the front tires so when you have it aligned tell the tech to set the camber as close to the 0* setting as the specs allow. I forget what the specs are but if (for instance) if the specs are -1* to -.4* then have them set at the -.4* and it will help the tires last longer.

Also, dont let the tech tell you the rear camber is not adjustable. It is and the eccentric is INSIDE the rear UCA to subframe mount.

You will get it close but you may still wear out those tires.Get a rollback and save yourself the drama.
 
i measured from outside tread on left to outside tread on right and aligned them with the tie rod ends. it feels fine. she'll be going straight to the alignment shop tho. :)
