Help with Eibach & tires

So you went with V12s eh?

Compound is too soft for lowered IMO. Unless you get the rubber rotated OFTEN (unmount then re mount) - they won't last long in terms of tire life.

For the price I paid for them vs. what I would have to fork over here in Canada for good tires, I did alright. $878.40 after discounts, all in, including delivery.

These will serve as my first pair to get a base. I'll be sure to keep an eye on them and rotate often if needed. Thanks for the heads-up, had read about it.
There were also a lot of comments that when they do warm up they stick real good. There was also reviews that on track day, there was some chunking.

We'll see ...

Oh and I forgot to mention, last night, April Fools Baby, new granddaughter, "Olivia" 8lbs 2oz.
My wife's side of the production line. Pretty cool.

What do you consider not long?

I only got around 19000 miles out of two of them, with constant front/back rotation except for one missed rotation and I burned down the two rears to the chords. I have the remaining two on my front right now [these have around 25000 miles total].

I never tracked them or regular street raced other than a few stoplight stomps.

They would still be healthy if I wasn't lowered, but you gotta pay [in tires] to play.

I will eventually replace the fronts when they're toast with the same Falkens I have in the rear, they are a much sturdier compound.

19,000 miles - That's like 5 years for me ;)

I have not purchased tires for my barcelonas yet, so I'm still looking.

I currently have a set of V12s on that need replacing. Around 20k on them and less then a year old. I like them but they do wear pretty fast.

V12's are cool. Until you blow through them in 10k. I know from experience as the others above

Made it ... wasn't so bad.
Nice to eat food again.

That's one more reason I didn't lower my rear.. I'm not interested in spending $800 a year in tires!

The rears aren't the problem. Even lowered they don't wear all that extra. The front is where it is bad, and correct me if I am wrong, but you did put on just the front springs. You won't be fully immune. A shop might be able to get you close, but OEM spec contains zero camber up front.

How you holding up?

Good good, thanks for asking, it was all over and done with last night, checked me out this morning,
served me some breakfast and I was on my way. Check up in June.

Slept a fair bit today.

So, I'm onto getting my tires mounted and balanced tomorrow.
hopefully some nice weather too.

My rears wear faster.

My wife's rear is already worn!

:slam

My front aligned back to spec and I have not had any wear issues. The rear is not adjustable, how would you assume the rear won't wear horribly on the insides after lowering it and 1.5" or more.

My rears wear faster.
