you have a gen I so you're missing a lot of stuff. Makes you're view on the car a bit biased.
And not a fan of either the F40 or countach. Im more of a Aston guy.
not really, gen one or two, they are both flops, the cavalier and pt cruisers lasted longer, gee I wonder why, maybe because I am buying a lincuar or jaucoln for the price of a nice bimmer.
both cars are very very outdated, I feel as though the LS looks better, because its not so round, but get over it, there are tons and tons of more reliable cheaper, and better optioned cars available than both.
In a few ways tho dude, the Second Gen drives entirely different. For starters, the pedal is electronic and no longer cable. As well, Elect steering. The interior has improved with a larger more adjustable console. more HP. In a lot of way the two cars are very different, yet still the same.
Outdated? By Calender yes. By functionality, hells no. I don't care what you 'Think', Rather brings facts to the table.
Show me a 2012 Altima with motorized pedals? Show me a Camry with Seat AC? Show my an Accord with Puddle lights? All as a STANDARD option? these are all mid sized 30k+ cars. They still don't touch the LS.
Here, Ill even throw the LS against Luxury contenders.
LS price was 38k? Show me a $38K Luxury car with Wiper sensors and wiper heaters?
Whether you like it or not, the LS STILL IS Ahead of this time. Until 30K cars come with loads of features (And, they NEVER will because simply put, less feature = less weight = better fuel mileage) thats when you can come on here and say the LS is outdated.
The only thing really, is the engine itself. 280HP by today's standard wont hold anymore. But thats why Jaguar (Who still makes the AJ Engine) has bored it out to make 375 HP. Then Forced induction to make 500 HP.
Our engine and platform are still alive, just in Jaguar Form, and modernized and enhanced. Something the LS Could have been had Ford not screwed up the marketing on this car..
