I would paint them so i could have the machined lip still, i hate them all black.
the problem with powdercoating is the center caps, the only ones you would be able to powdercoat are snowflake caps, because they are metal, all the other mark VIII rims have plastic center caps, so you would have to paint those.
Man after seeing this pic I know what Im going to do with mine to tide me over until I can get a different set!:hump:

im going to do this on my 93 how shoud i prep them? just clean and spray?
Im going to do mine this weekend but cant make up my mind if I want to do a dark gunmetal color or black...
That's a tough one when you consider that the car is black. The black wheels might be too much, but it's hard to say. A dark gunmetal might give the wheels just enough contrast to stand out and look good.
