How well should you see the mirror signals during the day. I can barley are then during the day

Mine are pretty dim... I want to put LED lights in them.
Aren't they already LEDs? I thought they were. You know you have to look at them from a certain distance before you actually see them. When you are sitting on the driver side seat, its not visible.

With my windows tinted I cant even see mine at night. lol

they are led's already and you arent supposed to be able to see them well unless you are the car behind yours!

Nope they turn on when you active your turn signals (driver or passenger) or your hazzard lights.
I made this video along time ago when I first bought my Mark VIII, it was when I was excited about all the technology in lighting.

I can barely see them during the day. They are nice and bright at night though.

kid if only half of yours blink then that means some are burnt out!!

The passenger mirror LED assembly on my 97 was half burnt-out when I bought the car. Every other LED works. Then I noticed when I got a 'new' driver's mirror for the 98 that it was doing the same thing, so I just switched out the driver's LED assemblies and now it looks like it should be that way. All good on the 98....half good on the 97. haha.
KustomizingKid, which mirror of yours is not working right? I've got a spare of both sides, but I think the passenger side may be sold. The guy's been procrastinating for a while now. Let me know if it's something you need.

Both my mirrors have half burnt out bulbs... ugh
I've got a mirror that is a little buggered up that I'm going to experiment putting new LEDS in, if it goes well I will post up a how to and do it to both of my mirrors... I should have the mirror in a week or so.

I forget where I saw someone try this. Possibly on the .org site. Worked out for them so I'm sure you could put something together.

Rich, if you could, do you think you could try and find it? I'll look too, but having some recollection of it may give you a better chance of finding it. I've been thinking about doing this ever since I got the 97 last Feb.

i have the puddle lamp and led assembly on ebay right now, all the led's work as does the puddle lamp. the motor assembly in the mirror was broken so i took the mirror apart and listed the parts from it. i checked the lights in it before i took it off the car.
