Stupid LEDs, they dim & stay on. Like I want to

around with inline resistors.

yeah they do but who wants that, specially for the backup lights.
these LEDs even have resistors inside them and were supposed to be the latest versions,
really thought they had worked out the "stays-on" problems by now.

I've only done the Lic Plate and puddle lights so far

Lic Plates are good, puddles go really dim.... I may add resistors but it doesn't really bother me YET

Next on the list is interior and trunk

and your plate lights go off right away ?
my trunk one stays on also.

ugh! <pulling hair>
I must have ended up with CHINA made or something.
eBay sellers ad was all about latest and no error promoting.

I'll have to try the load resistors if I can find that info.

I don't have that much ambition :D

It was actually pretty easy. I just tapped into the factory trunk light. Now that I'm not working I have been toying with the idea of flush-mounting the bars. It would be sweet to have just the lights poking through the trim.

Any problems with them staying on when you close the trunk? (simulated by pushing in the trunk close switch instead)

LOL, you got them from the CA Real-Time Traffic website ?

~ Funny guy!

Whats the correct length for the trunk light on Gen II?
