Ripped, you have a 97. Go to your local parts dealer and order up a bare pump for a 2003 Focus SVT.

I used the rubber base from the old pump as a spacer to make my new 2003 svt focus pump fit perfectly. then I bent the pump arm a TINY bit to compensate for the fact it sits higher and rewired the harness.

Works perfectly.
And even though the pump part number was a no-name brand from Schucks, the actual pump is a Walbro.

Dam n00bs. Aftermarket dont matter and will fit both just the same. Also this poll was started by someone with a 97 and was asking about a 97 255 pump so why would we need to specify year?
The only difference will be first gens dont need to reverse the power wires.

Then explain why multiple sites have the 93-96 listed differently than the 97-98?

Get a 255 lph walbro. Bbk sells one for 96-98 cobra I bought one for my 93 from negs last season.

Hey Guys, Don't forget the Ford GT supercar fuel pump works in the gen 2 Marks.

I have one in The Mark, and it was no trouble to install from what I was told. I usually do not run less than a half tank of fuel though, because hard right hand turns could be a challenge
